Candubrain
Kincardine, Teeswater, Mildmay and back, 145kms. Crazy high winds and huge drifts......no fun today, heard more than one sledder got stuck. I cut the ride short and headed back home. Thank you to the fellow who was part of a group of three that gave me the heads up about the rail trail Walkerton to Mildmay being badly drifted in

DanB
I have a trip planned to the South River/Sunridge area starting on Feb 2nd. Accommodations are booked, but the trails in that area are still not open. Any insights on when the trails in that area might open? I hear that the lakes are good to go, but there hasn't been enough snow. Might need to trailer south or north.... Thanks in advance
Oggy
They definitely need more snow. I have a place in Trout Creek and haven't been up since Christmas. The area seemed to miss any storms we've had this season.

Once they can clear the trail of abandoned sleds and downed tree's it should be good to go. Too much snow is just a temporary problem. lol

I know people that have been stranded for the last two days from The Tub, Sauble and Southampton. I just made a big pot of beef stew and hunkered down. lol
jjbffb
Heading to Bracebridge next week for a few days, can anyone give an update on trails, is Muskoka Lake rideable, it's hard to find a loop without red? Thanks, never thought I'd have to trailer west from Bancroft to find snow lol.

Trails here in bracebridge are coming along great,no real loops, you could launch in gravenhurst and go west towards bala ,hearing good things out that way ,as far as the big lakes I’m thinking not so good, but lakes are not my thing anymore 2
Steve F6
I would say by the weekend there should be more connectivity with the trails in muskoka. 2
zoso
It is nice to see areas that have been starved of snow getting to open this year. Getting to ride from home should put a smile on many faces.

With all snow in south traffic should be lighter in central area too 👍

Spent 5 hours today moving snow to get feed truck back in. Drifting is brittle. Suppose to show up 6 am Friday morning to get rest of them. Hopefully weather co-operates 🙏

Don't feel so dumb now.
