Had to run down to Barrie from our shop in Orillia. Probably happened 5 mins. after I went through there. Still getting nuked on here. Once I got to about gasoline alley, I put my sunglasses on.
2strokemerc
When I saw the mess up there I thought of you. The sun has been shining off/on in Barrie all day. I remember days when I still commuted to T.O., I'd get to work early in the morning and hear about a major crash that happened shortly after I went thru.
VicFish
I went up Hwy 12/169/11 this morning to Gravenhurst and back to Georgina. Must have just missed the SB closure at 169 on my way back. Lots of snow between Beaverton and Washago.
Arctic JC
Great few days riding out of the cottage, lots of seat time for my son on his sled and mine. Crazy drifts yesterday, I’ll add a pic of a concession road with the plow in the distance, drifts are as tall as the plow. Trails this morning were some of the best so far this season, with the fresh snow yesterday conditions today were excellent!
04nightfire
Another snow day today and looks like we are in for some more on Thursday and Saturday.

Not too far from your place when you cut across the bay. How are conditions around you? I haven’t been West of Beausoleil Island yet this season but was hoping to get out that way this week. Lots of snow but lots of sled traffic so trails were rough on the weekend but all good.
95rxl650
Another foot of snow comin our way. I just paid to have snow removed from our front yard so we could see to get out of the driveways. I'm out of places to put the stuff. lol Blowers have been out cutting back banks on the highways which have become an attraction around here. People doing graffiti and taking pictures. Not the best places to be pulling over for selfies. Dumb asses.
Steve F6
Headed out this aft to scope out the d101 east to dorset. Was hoping to see a club member or work crew. Heard theres lotsa rocks maybe from 2 summers of atvs?tearing it up? Anyone know the scoop? Its not groomed yet so turned around and decided to head down to the B trail and make big loop east and north. Once again Haliburtons top B dissappoints. It was pristine to the HW limit. Stopped and chatted with a guy he said its moguls to lake st nora. What exactly is the issue here? Is it b112 that is late to open and B gets neglected till the b112 groomer can get up there without going up the hwy 35 shoulder? Would love to know why. Came back and stopped at the shelter then went thru bigwin and up d103. All of it in beauty shape. Only one pic today as the riding was too damn good. Kick ass weekend of riding in D7 coming up!

Strong Farmer
Snow good now. After today's storm some of trail markers will be burried no doubt. Today only about 6" to 1 feet showing in some area's in Listowel to Palmerston area. Wind howling going to whip up snow like crazy just in time for that big ride. 💩

Spiderman
Officially snowed out at home now. If it snows again, I'm leaving it - as they say, it will melt. Done clearing

You nailed it. I read yesterday that trail is so rutted up from Atv’s it will take another 2 feet before could even think about making a pass. Virtually impassible.

We're going to be riding Monday. Was thinking of taking trails from Lake Vernon to Dorset - fuel up and run the lakes home Is the route from Port Sydney, through Baysville etc. into Dorset decent? If not, we may run the lakes there and then find something else on the way back. My kid wants to see the "channel" in person

Its tough to open on a good year, so at least we know why now. Maybe someone from Hatva and LOB atv club could chime in as to how they plan to fix it as thats unacceptable. The other issue when d101 isnt open we all use B to go east and Haliburton neglects their portion of it. Grooming for tourism? I wonder if Baysville could take that piece of B over but i also wonder if their pisten bully cant make it that far and back on fuel? If thats the issue I have a 350ltr diesel tank in my truck and would help out with fuel topups once or twice a week if it meant a TOP trail was rideable between two districts. Its ridiculous really. Probably quite a few fed up permit buyers in that area with fuel tanks in the their trucks too. 17 minutes ago, Spiderman said: Is the route from Port Sydney, through Baysville etc. into Dorset decent? All mint to just west of Raven lake. Best alternate option is D102/3 up to 54 and across LOB. Still waiting on that 50 trail to show on the map. Not sure what the heck is going on with that now.

Thing I do like about it is I ride from the house. The old gal dont mind bare roads and curbs. Once I get out of town the side roads are well covered. I can road run to Tobermory and back. lol
