I was through Meaford, Thornbury and up on the mountain behind Collingwood yesterday. Snow snow and more snow.

It's been snowing here all day today and supposed to keep snowing til Tuesday night.

It’s just puking snow in Mitchell right now.   Falling straight down.

Don't worry, the snow will stop today around 11am. That's about the time my sled will be back together and ready to ride. Lol.

On a sled. I still have an ol' Polaris xcsp700 and access to other sleds. I rode an xcr650 and my wife rode an X800. She rarely rides anymore but had fun. We did alot of road running as she got tired on the way back. Plenty of snow on the roads.

Anyone know what the winter forecast was for this year?

seems to be a good one in many spots, a bit slow to start though. 
Curious if it was an accurate one for a change.

You can thank me, despite volunteering for the local club this was the first time in decades I didn't buy an early pass .

Chest deep in spots while trying to clear some snow around the house and pool sled. Has been a while since I’ve this amount around Orangeville.

Seen the HGR grooming at freds heading to Baysville. He said the pisten bully was struggling getting up the hills with the drag on. It'll be a couple days to get the air out of this latest round of snow. Thanks to the 2 guys that helped me get unstuck tonight after i got sucked in trying to pack down an outside corner. Seemed like a great idea at the time😅

I seem to remember them calling for a snowy winter but don't not all that cold? The consistent cold temps have help just as much as the snow has. We have some usual problem issues that aren't a problem at all this year because the temps have been cold.  Granted when you looked at the forecast the first week of January the season looked like a write off. At least in the French River.

It's been awhile since we've had this much snow. I have to stand at the end of driveway and let my wife know when she can back out. Snow banks around town are out of control.

You lucky you can get out, I can't even keep my 3/4 of km lane way open lately

I have a small lot in town and I cant move now, Banks at the end of the drive are ten feet tall and I already paid someone to take some snow away. lol

I'm in no rush to buy another sled. I hate borrowing a sled because if it breaks I feel responsible to replace it that day so the person wont be off the trails waiting for repairs or worse...insurance. We have a big shop in the country close to the trail so we have family and friends sleds around for the winter.  My wife and I had a couple out the other day to assist with suspension setup for the owners. It always makes me nervous using someone else's stuff. My wife likes to go fast and I swear she broke 100mph multiple times while road running coming home on Friday.

Thats alot of driveway. You must hate the windy days. lol

I think I burn more gas in the snowblower than my wife does in her little Honda CRV

I burned so much diesel it's stupid. I think I burned close to 300 L in last 3 weeks. It take 30 L to open it back up. It close to 3 feet deep in spots now.

That’s kind of what I thought was mentioned, but then I also recall a 180 mentioned, like always…so I normally do not put much weight or take serious note of the predicted forecasts, so figured I’d ask. 
The late start sure was not looking good. 

Which I’m going to have to guess, but there must be some good mid season permit buying going on!
