got 2 km on the Mach just now. Not on OFSC trails though

First impression being back on a 4-stroke?

I think the 1200 was your last 4-stroke and you did not speak highly of it if I recall.....

Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers territory will be my guess for an early start to the season. The B trail (rail bed) heading east from Whitney.

Your both possible to be right.

B trail from whitney east is barrys bay club.

B south of whitney is mapleleaf..

Both are good bets.

I plowed my yard Wednesday and had over 5 inches once I realized how deep it actually was..

Nothing wrong with like minded predictions!

I just know I have rode this section early in the past because it was the closest place to me with open trails....and given its location that generally gets consistant snow and favourable terain, makes it an easy first choice for me.

B103 rail line from Kinmount to Haliburton.

Was doing trail work in the Gooderham area this week and there was 6-8" on the ground plus probably another 2" over the last day.

Nice it usually opens mid December but gets tonnes of traffic too. Snow light over so a few groomed it be a few inches deep 😆

It wasn't enough to tell if i really liked it but I said to my son. Its either the fastest sled I have ever ridden or I'm still in Harley mode and not used to the power in a sled.

Exhaust sounds good, fast as hell, but not sure on anything else it was smooth roads.

Somewhere in Central Ontario as of Tuesday evening. Going to be hard to survive the coming weekend, but a good start!

You are probably right, but the guys in Cochrane are saying that they desperately need snow.   They are a LONG way from opening anything up.    At least they are getting cold weather to freeze things up.

With 2 to 3 days of warm up, and forecasted rain... that may help, or hurt. Time will tell. My bet is there wont be a lot of places with limited trails by Christmas/New Years weeks. Ski

Ironically, according to Windy snow depths, the Halfway Haven area D trail has the most snow of any trails in Ontario with about 20 cm. or 8 inches if you can believe Windy.
