revrnd
A late start today so I didnt do a loop. Apsley up to the TOP E and E109 intersection between Harcourt & LSP. Quite a few sleds out & trails were in decent shape. 143 klicks for the day. Memories of Timmins in Harcourt... Fishtail Creek on TOP E
soupkids
I rode all day today on my Polaris dealerships demo ride. I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow. I have a new cc 850 137 sitting in my shed right now, wonder what it will be tomorrow. 2

I have a buddy that has a brand new 850 ASSAULT and loves it. Every year now for the past 4 I keep telling myself I need a newer sled but have a hard time pulling trigger. Love my old sled but I’m not getting any younger. Also read the warranty on those new Patriot motors is 4 years?

I’d say 80 percent of sleds I see are Bombardier.

Also read the warranty on those new Patriot motors is 4 years? 4 year warranty on the Polaris 850 when you snowcheck them, no mileage restrictions, I put quite a few miles on my 2019 Indy 850 last year and was worked flawlessly, on our 2020's both have around 1500 miles so far and other than a temp sensor issue which has been looked after sleds are working great. Snowcrest is hosting a Trailside bbq and Polaris Demo Day at Northgate Polaris on Sunday Feb 16th from 11am to 2pm, feel free to stop in and check it out.
Muskoka Man
Not riding the trails today too mushy and soft .but lots of guys unloading in port Sydney to trench up the newly opened trails
revrnd
SRXChris, my sled is an XS chassis 'doo which has been replaced by the Gen 4. The 2S version looks OK to my eyes, not keen on the 4S hood styling... A lot of newer Poos the days I've seen other sleds. Yesterday must've been antique Yammi day. In the morning I saw 3 SX chassis sleds & a pogo stick went by the house. Then at the E109 intersection a new Poo & 2 SX Yammis. One white, kind of painted like a 40th Ann' (I dont think 1 existed) & the other maroon 1 that didnt sound so good when the rider (Team Carhartt apparel) shut it off... soupkids
I rode the same trails today that I did yesterday, over and over again. There are now mogals that will swallow a 155 of any kind.
MXZSlider
E108 north from Simcoe/Ramsey is chewed up pretty good, while it leading South and connecting with 101 West or continuing into Port is barely covered in spots. The new bridge into the top of Port through the Swamps was about a 1/2' from being washed out, I can only imagine the rest of the trail leading into the Marina/Lake area is a no-go. Even the local Ditch B*tch crews have been silent the last 3-4 days.

I loved the xr. Body style. Just sold 2012 xr with 600 etec in fall. Now I just have Xs in 900 like you, but a long track with air suspension. I just don’t like lack of storage on new grand touring’s, so keep mine forever now.
manotickmike
E104 A from end to end yesterday, awesome. What a great trail. Back on the E and others, delightfully lost most of the day, just following along. Rain for an hour, then SNOW. Great day, saw a dozen sleds at Sharbot Lake (good pizza...) and maybe another dozen on the trail, even saw an old pal riding with hubby and kids, what are the odds. Also happened upon a NASTY wreck, nice new Cat touring, totalled, thankfully nobody hurt. Got him out of the ditch and onto the shoulder for towing. This is as close as I can figure, my odo read 180.
soupkids
Got a 2020 assault 850 for the day so decided to go for a ride with my oldest son. Currently having lunch at the fire house in capreol.
thetorches
Myself and Paul 09MXZ rode 255 kms from Fenelon to Harcourt and back. Two hundred of those kms were very rough. What a workout. Lots of branches, small trees and tons of overhanging branches on E trail. Did a lot of ducking. Tried to help a guy put out his sled fire. Packed tons of snow on it , but just wouldn't go out. Man they burn up real good. Loaned another guy a spark plug wrench. It was still nice to get out but am I ever sore.
revrnd
Puggz & I staged @ Coe Hill & ride up to LSP. Trail was mint to Bancroft. Choppy to the 'south' E109 intersection. Better w/ loose snow north to the village. Quite a few sledders out today. 603 klicks for the season.
stoney
Parked at raven lake, ran raven, kawagama and bear....kawagama is slushy in spots. Trails were mostly good. thinner for sure with lots of corn snow. Not too busy, yet.
Jason T
Finally rode D trail from the house to rail bed, the last section of closed trail for our club. My neighbor and I cut on the way up, met up with another club member, and finally... we were able to cut in front, while the groomer followed us down!!

barberch
picked up my new 20 Enduro 900 T this morning and ran some of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton trails. They were a little bumpy but the sled ate them up!
thetorches
Paul 09MXZ and I rode from Fenelon Falls to Whitney. Some bumpy spots, but not to bad. Took B106e thru Lk. St. Peter to the E 109 to the E to B103 back to Fenelon Falls. Total of 325 kms. The B106 was in great shape and fun to ride. From then on it was really rough. Groomer was heading south on the B103 from Haliburton and one was heading north from Fenelon. It was a good day.

Moderate sled traffic, followed a couple on the way back a couple of times. we stopped @ different spots. They were riding along @ the perfect speed, so I made no attempt to pass them Saw a couple of moose scoops on E107 No moose sightings in my travels so far this season. Just one deer on the Crown behind our woodlot. Could've run over a grouse south of LSP on Friday.
yamadan700
Saw 2 moose together on the E107 about halfway between the E trail and Apsley on Thursday afternoon around 4. They were north of where the E107 stays on the east side of Hwy 28 and were east of the trail up on a ridge/hill.

Short ride today. Cleared some more obstacles south of Apsley. Finished brushing the access trail to the woodlot. Then rode E107 down to where it turns east off of the 'Deer Road' (below 704). A few sleds out riding.
