The lakes are not good this year for ice. This is sad news for sure.

Snow is thin. we are supposed to get another 10-12 Thursday into Friday. It is currently raining...

The only jackets that seem to fit me properly are the fxr adrenaline ones, 649.00 ffs! all the other makes and models seem too short in the sleeves, or body.

I think he could smell our sandwiches we had in our tunnel bags.

A few of us rode up last year for a day trip from Sudbury. Was a great time, and great spot! This season were thinking of renting a cabin and staying over. Hosts were fantastic people. Lots of snow on the way home.

We could use a good 20 in Sudbury.

This should tighten up the lakes...

Hopefully we can get another decent snowfall in the next 7-10 days, to things opening up!

Looking for a sled for the wife, newer than '05. yea.. Lots of not so good sleds out there. 6k for a 2005 600 with 17k miles, rebuilt by back yard joe, i forsee a lot of sled's on the sides of trails this year if newcomers end up buying some of this stuff. It will be interesting..

What i wouldn't give for 5-10cm of white gold to cover this hard pack. Still a great season.

Checked out the trails this morning. Hard as a rock, bare spots, no lube. Scratchers would be a must for sure. Think my season is pretty much over. 1037 miles. Short but sweet. Clubs did amazing for the conditions we had this year.

D104 headed south to Warren / Kates is my favorite trail.! Look forward to riding it every year.

If I add the heated seat and taller windshield to the Adrenaline I'm still $2000 cheaper than the Enduro. go with above.

Supposed to get 5cm tonight or so. sadly i think this weekend will be last call around Sudbury. Supposed to get + temps after this week. Our snow dropped really fast because we hardly had enough to begin with.

X2 and its snowing lots at the moment. ! I think all our trails will be excellent after this snow.

Just over 200 miles between Yesterday and today. Friday the trails were fantastic. All freshly groomed. Today went D104 to Kates, then Warren and back home. Trails were still In good shape. Some rough spots, bare spots. Still lots of rocks in some areas. Met groomer on rail bed on way home. So they are out, and doing an excellent job keeping up with al the traffic. Was soo nice to sit in a restaurant again to eat.

We have a bit more snow coming early next week. Being local i can give you my thoughts. I have not been on all the trails mind you, and this is just my opinion. Good trails: D104, NV500, C206 up east side of wolf mountain.(didn't go down the other side) Trail #83, C105, C111D, D almost to Garson, C/D is decent. Not so good: #64 and C out of Rocky's, #56, C railbeds, #71 across the big lake. Everyone's idea of great varies of course, kinda like buying a used sled. Above is based on the amount of rocks, sticks, logs, slag, etc i have run over using the above trails.

Good weekend to be off the trails anyway. Lots of crazy. Have Video of my friend getting hit by a Yamaha blowing the corner 1/2 hour into our ride.
