Snowing steady all morning in Wasaga, had lots of fun playing in the snow, my son riding his mini Viper, and testing out all the new ski gear making sure he’s warm and comfortable. Consistent snow on the way home until 89. Barrie looked like there was slightly more snow. (Little guy is ready to rail corners on a 120 next winter )

We have to be pushing 2 feet of snow since about 8:30 this morning

Another 3-4 inches today.

Parry Sound yesterday

Fergus area got at least 12” Friday night/Saturday morning…another 10cm or so after that. We got lots down here and the 3hrs of rain we got helped keep the snow from blowing off the fields. A little bit more would be nice though.

We have had soooooo much snow in the past few days and its still snowing hard. Apparently the groomers are out, the volunteers are doing last minute maintenance and fixes to the trails, it looks fabulous up here. You will have to just keep checking the online trail maps for that lovely change of colour. Ride program at the flashing light intersection in town today, expect to see lots of that in the next couple of months.

Huntsville area improving from overnight snow. Starting to look like winter now.

Condolences to any family that has had this pain inflicted upon them needlessly, currently or in the past. I went for a short ride yesterday along a railbed that was open but limited conditions. Every trail that branched off was clearly marked as closed and even a gate had been opened, yet there were the tracks of privileged "A-holes" on every one of them. I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but I have little sympathy for those who know the state of the sport and the dangers that go along with playing the fool.

Took a run from OS to to Holland Center for a shakedown. New to me sled and I pretty much had it stripped down at one point. Stopped a couple times to inspect and all is well. It got run hard on the return trip. The trail is a railbed so pretty boring with the exception of a couple opportune chances for some air. Some gravel worked to the top in a few places that are protected from weather. Still a blast after taking last year off for cataract surgeries. Wife made me sell becuase apparently I'm to stupid to stay off it. Whats she know. lol

Groomer just rolled through our place. He will have at least one pass on 90% of his assigned trails by midnight. A goood days work.

I would say we have 30-40cm on the ground here in sudbury now. Groomers are on the move. Should see some colour next week.

I am booked off the week of the 28th to go to Quebec. I think I am going to trailer my new sled up to Markdale this week and jump on the rail bed and go 10-15km out of town and then just turn around and go back to the truck. I would just like to know that everything is in good working order on my new sled before I head out for 5 days.

We were there yesterday, as stated both groomers were down, trails were very choppy and corners were getting icy, Was still nice to get out for a first ride regardless. Would have been nice if they had shared that information on their FB page though

Snow isn't near as bad as when the slabs of ice come off them. I got hit a few years ago. No damage but it scared the crap out of me...lol

Hoping that if he gets it packed down with these cold temps we are to get this week it might tighten up.

Yep, I think for some it’s a mission or their job to just mess with ya. An old one is I'm out of the country, I’ll take unseen and deposit money into your account….ill send a friend to come collect….. I used to wonder why in todays age people still put their stuff for sale by road with sign, but maybe that is the best way now a days - the old school way!

Oh my god yes, stupidity rules. I was offered engine parts, a couple trailer's, a lawn tractor that needs work, some sort of jet-boat, and the kicker.... How much just for the engine, carb and wiring?????????
