Did you get your flock moved so you can ride?

One barn yes but snow removal been huge. Spent 5 hours today moving snow to get feed truck back in. Drifting is brittle. Suppose to show up 6 am Friday morning to get rest of them. Hopefully weather co-operates 🙏

Lol, I love snow when playing in it, hate it when working in it. Hope the snow stays for you after you get things settled down.

Happened just before farm. Same hill I had a slight trailer tow vehicle mishap last Saturday. At least I stayed on road. Don't feel so dumb now.

I feel like I was riding in and around Christmas around 2006 to 2010’ish.

I know for sure we rode some cottage roads around Dorset about 2006…went into town for lunch, restaurant was not open yet, then one of the guys decided it was a great idea to run the narrows, but parallel to the bridge, he had no hope in hell of ever making from shore line to shore line with those tall concrete curbs at either end, plus there was not a stitch of ice anywhere on either bay beside the bridge…down went his sled and couldn’t believe the number of locals that came to have a look since they heard a rumour of a sucken sled in December.
asked the local guy if he’d dive for us, he was busy with Christmas events or something but could help out the next day, we couldn’t wait so bought rope and hook from Robinson store and fished for the sled from the bridge with the help of a local that tied rope to truck hitch and pulled her out.
Folks at the restaurant, that was now open threw buddies wet clothes in dryer plus served some soup.

And we got to put a dash on the chalk board in the restaurant that a doo went for a drink.

Mary lake crossing is staked now. I will throw the drag on when we get some fresh snow and do a few passes.

Can I just say losing that 50 series trail along that side of Hwy 11 - that come to the crossing and into our system is one of the most devastating losses for me.....

I loved that trail.

That trail when it was groomed properly it was a blast to ride. Starting to loose interest in this sport. Finding hard to get into places now more so then before.

It really was a great trail when it was groomed for sure.

Maybe before you throw in the towel - hit the 711 north from the Seguin up toward Mag.

It was so fun to ride on Sunday - really made me appreciate how awesome sledding can be.

We haven't lost it. We've put in quite a few days cutting a new reroute. I will get the scoop tonight on why its not showing on the map but i do know for sure that the gas company has been brushing the gas line right of way the past few weeks so possibly thats whats holding it up as alot of it follows and/or crosses it. I do know that it wont show it connecting anymore, it will just end at griffin lodge rd due to the hwy crossing at grade. Its always been a road run from there anyway so...

Was at Zachary’s in Dorset today and could see the stakes coming off the lake. My route didn’t take me out that way but tomorrow I will see if south portage is staked and will cross if it is. One of the other sledders at restaurant said it was.
