Maybe they come up with one monthly payment and you can trade sled in April and get a new atv. Come late fall they take atv back and give you a new sled.  Would be a clever idea.

Don Coffey Sales tried that about 30 years ago and it put them out of business.

Applies to sleds too - add in that the activity is 100% weather dependent............

Big time market correction on the way.

A buddy of mine sells lower priced camper trailers.  They are selling units like crazy.  He has been there since mid January and cannot believe the volume of trailers they have moved.

Good luck.
Maybe you find someone willing to sell with increasing fuel prices.  Volume of those motor homes is allot less then trailers. They defiantly hold value pretty good these days.  You want to go to Florida too and camp out in Walmart parking lots along the way. My buddy always did that. He joked he saved enough on camp sites to cover a portion of fuel bill 😀.

A tent trailer is around 26,000.
A nice hard top side one where ends just fold out and you have access to most of trailer when ends are folded in is around 45,000 ish depending on options. Those have  full size fridges and stoves and nicer washroom. Motor homes are closer to quarter million dollars now 🤣

Yes some pop up campers maybe that price but There are a number of manufacturers selling your standard type travel trailers in smaller configurations aimed at the smaller tow vehicle and budget crowd.

Some of these trailers may only be 7’ wide single axle now also.  I have seen many of these on road in last couple years

How many families have an SUV?  Now they can camp.

How many times have comments on this page stated sled manufacturers need a low priced entry level sled?.

Camping trailer manufacturers are at that point.

I sold an 8 foot box popup last summer that weighed in at just over 1000 dry.

A guy working in BC sent his father from elliot lake to owen sound for pick it up. From the time I posted it till he got here I had well over 100 replies. It was insane.

I listed one of my boats yesterday and it was sold in ten minutes by a fella from parry sound. Didnt want a water test, didnt want to see it run on muffs. Just pulled the cover off threw it in the truck and left.  I guess folks are willing to travel for a good deal. I dont like sitting on things I'm selling, just want em gone.

Sold my sons last dirt bike in 3 days too -priced it fair - took $200.00 less - wanted it gone.

guy showed up - looked at it - started it up - said we're good.

That was it

Thats it right there. If your priced fair in a current market, serious buyers know it and not so inclined to try beating you up. They know if they do, they get shown the door.

Good job. I noticed market is flooded with used atv's people are trying to get rid of. Might be a good time to replace my 2011 or keep it as a back up bike. It gets used almost every day here on farm.

People get caught up in the what it is worth to me vs. what it is worth to others/market can bear......the latter of the two will usually see success, the first, not so much......

I was just talking to a friend who is selling a used vehicle, they are stuck on 27K mark for it, dealer offered 23K when they bought their new one......stupid thing is they would have saved almost 3K in taxes on the trade in......lol.

Another reason to get things gone - dealing with the stupidity of selling anything on the various online platforms.

One of the other good things forums can be great for, the buy and sell section.

Sometimes people forget to do the simple math and work the 2 options out.

27 not a bad deal I take that. 1k is 1k.  That's at least a week of work for most people.

Your time isn’t free, all the waiting around, showing, haggling etc etc, at a point, the wasted time and effort isn’t worth having it gone and moving on.

That's true  usually I make 5k more then trade. I always do it ahead of time. Can't get what I want trade it in 😎.   Now I just seem to keep them forever mostly and see how far they go. Our average family vehicle age is 18.3 years at moment.
