dweese Posted December 29, 2015 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Here's what we got. 4-5" nice hard crust on top so hopefully it will get past the rain and make it through the day into tomorrow. Yup about the same here as well. Snowblower really worked hard this morning trying to clear it. But my trusty Briggs powered Craftsman 6hp did the job. bbakernbay Posted December 29, 2015 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Yea we got snow and lots of drifting but I am more concerned about what is underneath, a mass of slush and running water. This insulating blanket will cause more problems than it solves. Probably screws the few lakes that have an inch or ice or so. Great news for the high quality smooth bush road trails but not that great for pipeline and hydro trails that have water pockets plus swamps. Oh well, we take it as it comes, sorry to be the grinch. Today's snowfall probably around 25 cms. New garbage pails and 3 toilets at major intersections this year. One garbage pail and lid was stolen a few days after it was installed.
