SNOW

Here's what we got. 4-5" nice hard crust on top so hopefully it will get past the rain and make it through the day into tomorrow.

Yup about the same here as well. Snowblower really worked hard this morning trying to clear it. But my trusty Briggs powered Craftsman 6hp did the job.

I guess it's time to finally out the bike away and get the sled ready.

We got about 3 or 4 inches. It's +3 now and raining. Going to shovel, but it's just a big slush bowl out there. Snow will probably be gone by tonight.

Likes nice.... Probably bothering ppl because of the insulating factor but oh well take what u can get

Yea we got snow and lots of drifting but I am more concerned about what is underneath, a mass of slush and running water.

This insulating blanket will cause more problems than it solves.

Probably screws the few lakes that have an inch or ice or so.

Great news for the high quality smooth bush road trails but not that great for pipeline and hydro trails that have water pockets plus swamps.

Oh well, we take it as it comes, sorry to be the grinch.

One would think a top notch sledder wanting everyone's support in a contest would want to share secret riding places. Especially for early season snow. :D  You can't say no unless we ask.

Snowing HARD in Ottawa. Happily, not blowing like forecast.

I'd say 6" so far. Maybe more.

Nice to see...

Our Club Director and Groomer Operator from the Talon Lake area was installing one of our Club's 9 Trail Map boards at A112A & NB308.

Today's snowfall probably around 25 cms.

New garbage pails and 3 toilets at major intersections this year.

One garbage pail and lid was stolen a few days after it was installed.
