    • Awesome day, 425km, other then A trail thru Kap (along hy.11) trails were fantastic especially northern loops (L125, L159, L165, & L163).  Highlight of the day was seeing two Moose on the L159 just before it meets the L165.  Conditions were spectacular, snowing heavy in Hearst right now.  No premium gas in Smooth Rock, first time getting fuel in Moonbeam, it may be the new fuel stop moving forward for us.  Can’t wait for tomorrow's ride!
    • So after three failed attempts to ride Quebec with my (now 17 years old) son (Christmas and March break last year , and Christmas this year) - we finally made it! Trailered to New Liskeard - left 1:09pm, in at Amos in good time. Checked yesterday and today and Atmosphere had lots of room options , and heck it’s a Monday night. In 300 km we saw 10 sleds and a groomer total. well - arrived and it was fully booked! so headed over to Nouvelle Fronteirre (redone hotel next to the petro can). Nice place so far.   Up to  Chibougamau tomorrow, and yep - booked a room ahead of time!   trails were 9.5 all afternoon.
    • We used the Econolodge in Liskeard as it has a restuarant on site. In Timmin, the Super 8 next to Casey's restaurant.
    • Hopefully it survives with the upcoming weather. We were planning on going to Quebec Thursday for a 4 day but think we might cancel.
    • Did my last run for the year from north of Buckhorn to Cardiff and looped back around. 170km. The northern 3/4 part of the loop received a fresh 2" of snow last night.👍 Trails were still great and flat for most of it but some Canadian Shield was starting to poke through on the way back. The trail across Paudash Lake was flat as glass  and I touched 190km/h(and climbing) and said that's enough!!! Don't blow something up now!..lol...  Saw maybe 15 sleds out there. Sad that it is coming to such an abrupt end as there is such a great base and great snow coverage overall.  Great year for most clubs in the province and everybody was able to ride local most of the time. That should generate renewed interest going forward. The OFSC and all the volunteers needed this.👍
