Unfortunately in our area It blew too much and it seems we have full ditches and some drifts along fence lines but I can still see some brown marks in plowed fields. oldesledupes
We got a good 6-8" down in Camlachie and throughout much of D9. Groomers will be out packing, lets hope the Monday warm up drops below 0°.
zoso
We got about 15cm of badly needed snow. This should really help. The trails here are open and were very icy and thin in the fields, the bush was just ok, so now we should see enough for the groomers to actually lay a ribbon. Overall this winter has been very good here in the south east. This will be enough to keep me in the game and most likely sled shop. I thought about packing it in and skiing a lot more, but skiingis like trilering, you have to drive a few hours and drive bck or pay for a hotel. Riding from home while living on the trailin Northern Ontario spoiled me,but I am coming to terms with the realities of living in the south. It was mint last weekend, I can only imagine what it would be like if they got 30-45cm. Hope your ride is as good as ours was or better!
