B109 up near cashtown in good shape today. Good frozen base. Just need a little dump to open up west d8. That doesn't look like it will happen for at least another week.

Still good snow up on escarpment in the woods. Lowlands and fields not so great.

Friend of a friend shipped sled out west and ended up going with manitoulin and was happy with the service. Years ago, I was using freightcom to import ski shop machinery from the states. The first one I brought in was by using uship, but after freightcom won the bid, I opened an account with them directly bypassing uship for the subsequent loads.

Blew out 6-12” this morning from the driveway. Taking the wife out for lunch today on sled, and had to abort. Zero viz. Should be good over here in Wasaga area tomorrow. Doing the driveway again soon.

Wasaga cwood open finally. Ok to good early season conditions, with a couple poor small sections. I’m betting we get a good lake effect dump next two days.

Nice morning rip yesterday with a couple good buds. Happy to get out before the rain. About 2-3’ of setup snow in grey highlands. Deeper in drifts and loaded areas.

If winds lock into SW direction, buffalo will get smashed. Lake Erie surface temp 13cel, lower level -13cel and upper level -38cel. Parry sound area should get slammed as well, but not as much fetch as Buffalo. Kinda rare to get cold SW flow this time of year.

I would guess wasaga and bmsd open some trails thurs 1.5” to 2” an hour for 9 hrs yesterday, and we have a base.

6-8” in west simcoe county yesterday, another 6-8” last night. Dry light snow.

My buds Nordic centre In grey highlands the other day. Grass in the lowlands.

I’m really hoping I don’t have to buy a whole kit just to replace one bulb. I could just swap out to standard bulbs, but dang, these led are insanely bright, and don’t seem to cause the issues of the cheaper leds.

Need replacement bulbs. I’ve done searches and emailed them directly. No luck so far. Im hoping one of you guys are running these, and have sourced plug and play bulbs. Not sure exactly what model I have, but I’ll attach the a pic of the only markings on the whole unit. Tomorrow’s Colorado Low will put a few inches down if you aren’t too far south. I think the big story will be the following few days to week. Muskoka and North is setting up for some good lake effect snow.

36 hrs worth of snow this weekend

I filled some cans dec 23. This station is my usual go to for good premium. I’m sure they’ve refilled the tanks by now, but it ruined my day. Machine ran like it had water in the fuel, sputtered and stalling on low idle. I should of known when I blew out my driveway that morning, blower ran like crap. Pic doesn’t do justice, but the fuel was bright green. Just a heads up.
