Techdenis007
These were a week ago, bit more back there now. A gentleman was telling me this morning that Longlac area has some 14" on the ground, Matt17 said that there's about 8" of snow between Hornepayne and Mooseland in the area where we hunt, tons of logging roads for good paced riding. A plan is in place to hit it on Sunday, got Saturday all booked up already ...

We came up to a stretch of road with high walls of snow. The wind was blowing and snow was swirling between the two walls making for a white out condition. He rolled down his window, drove onto the wrong side of the road and stuck his arm out the window to feel the wall of snow and proceeded very slowly feeling his way. Part way through suddenly there was a set of headlights coming at us with a truck doing the exact same thing from the opposite direction. That would have been about 30 years ago. gobills
When I lived on the soo. We had a winter where the sidewalks looked like that road.

Midland was similar a few years back but nowhere near as high as in the picture. There was a wall for the sidewalks. I believe that year they had a cumulative snowfall of about 12 feet. Dan-Senior
Snow came early this year. I took this photo a few minutes ago from my living room window. The mountains north of the Sault are now ridable, but you need to know where to go and how to get in there. My trailer is at camp, so I'm staying put. The snow will melt, starting Sunday. matt17
Different type of snow image. Depths are building showing 8-10 inches around town, 12-16 up around Hwy 11. For those that know the area Nagagmi, Nagagmisis and Long Lake are all visible, Wawa is at the very bottom.
