    • I know people have said the torsion springs are way too soft for most riders - I changed out mine after the first year, just like all said, they were way too soft, but I wanted to come to my own conclusion on that. With the XRS you have all the extra adjustments on all the shocks - I know most don't like to mess with them, but they can really make the sled be so much better based on where you ride, how you ride, time of the day, etc....just need to keep track of the adjustments as you go so you know where you were at, what worked, etc....., IMO.
    • How so - shorter season, smaller footprint vs QC and the price there? $300 in ON vs $517 in QC (without the personal INS included like ON permit) is still cheaper, but the permit price here I would hope be around $310.00 with some sort of an increase added/approved...and I am sure the QC permit will go up, it seems to most years.
    • So a $300.00 permit in Ontario next year would not be overpriced.
    • Yeah if anything I need a heavier rear spring.  I did look at that yesterday.  I hope you’re right on the weather.
    • ya, the apples to apples give you a clear picture the massive amount paid less in ON. For the other insurance paid by the FCMQ based on 83,000 permits up to Dec 1 so far would be just shy of 3 mil.....wonder what the insurance bill for the OFSC and its clubs is.   Ontario In ON $214.00 Before Nov 1    or    in QC $392.00 $425 (October 1 to October 31, 2025) In ON $244.00 Nov 2 - Dec 1    or    in QC $417.00 $450 (November 1 to December 15, 2025) In ON $294.00 Dec 2 onwards    or    in QC  $517.00 $550 (purchased after December 15, 2025)
