The North, Feb 27-Mar 2?

I think we are all going to be pretty bummed out with the amount of red on the ITG on Monday.

I got my summer toy out of storage on the weekend and have pretty much put sledding behind me for the season.

Seen quite a few trucks and trailers heading up 11 this afternoon.

We noticed the same thing driving home today. Still a bunch of sled trailers headed north. My buddy kept yelling out the window, "Go Home, Its Done."   .....lol

Hey, at least they're not at work and likely to sit around, put a few back and find a way to have a good time and a few laughs.

Wonder how many sleds will have "electrical fires' in the next week or so :)

My buddies still want to go to Quebec this weekend.    I suggested we still go somewhere on a guys weekend but leave the sleds at home.

It is early March and blasts of winter may still come in the north, but how much water will be flowing.....

Close to preserve in hopes things can be salvaged.

This was from the Polar Bears Club:

We are going to be closing all of our trails today at 5pm due to the current warm weather with rain predicted overnight. Please note, we are not throwing in the cards for the season. We are ready to do what we can to reopen our trail network whenever/if winter decides to return! - Jesse

I truly believe that Cochrane will open up again before the end of March.
