Pretty much a non-event here. Yesterday morning we had 2" on the stick. This morning, 4".

Yeah, I had people telling me all late last week "a foot of snow on Monday".

Huh? :ehh:

But when I checked or heard a forecast, I didn't hear anything of the like.

Like we need a foot of snow on top of mud?

We prolly did have a cpl inches on the ground at one point, but it's gone now.

Lets talk about the more exciting thing we dearly need & love to all ride on......how much frost in the ground do you have....:icon_munching:.

All this snow without frozen ground in Muskoka will probably delay the groomers being able to get out when the weather turns cold and more snow as there will be a lot of water under the snow, looks like the weather will return to normal or colder after Dec 10 here in Muskoka. I don't think the trails here have been open before early Jan in the last 6 years? We need the cold weather to freeze all the creeks and swamps up good and solid then let it snow! I Remember our local club president saying we can't take the groomer out to push the fallen trees out of the way and pack until we have a good freeze up.

It makes the roads good for sleds while we wait for more cold.
