Mileage this season, so far...

Recommended Posts

3000 for the season, 9660 km IIRC on the 800 in the 2 years I've had it.  Should be good for clear 10k before season ends.

Only 1700 km  for me so far this year, mostly local

Not too shabby, considering circumstances.

My wife has been laid up with a hip replacement since early Jan (2 knees and 2 hips in 3 years). So I have been chief cook and bottle washer and nurse. So not much time for riding!

I've been telling her that I'm replacing her bit by bit!

I'd wear out my sled and myself if I took no short cuts - - road, lake, or air.

Heading over to your neck of the woods this afternoon. The railbed south of Bancroft has been in great shape when Ive ridden it.

Added another 400 kms today. Little traffic and great trails from Pembroke up to Deux Rivière. Firm this morning but loosened up in the afternoon. Fresh groomed on 197, even caught up to the groomer.

Hope to get out next week for another trip with my wife.  We'll see what the weather holds!

After returning from Gaspe with Nunz and crew on Sunday, I fell ill with a flu / cold and haven't moved.  Finally got out to read the odo on the sled.  Total mileage for the year is only 4469 Km so far.  Still hope to get out for another trip.

I got in 1700 k this season before it ended abruptly a month ago.

Still waiting for TD insurance to come to a decision. Heads up to those that have TD, great rates .. crappy service.

Tell me something I didn't already know...

6 months to finalize a home break claim in that resulted in 16 Gs worth of lost property. When I asked them why it had been taking so long for a resolution I was told "Oh, the person looking after your claim has been off sick for a couple of months. That's why it's been delayed".

:banghead:

4710 klicks or 2926 miles so far. Maybe a couple more rides, could hit 3000 miles for the season. :woot:
