stoney
I thought Doo had a big change, not sure though. really should just be small stuff though, all things considering.
signfan
Expedition lineup saw the biggest changes. G5 chassis now and new suspension. Trail sleds all get the new front end that the mxz got last year. Some guage updates again (maybe it will work now??). Lots of small updates. Nothing major. I sure wish brp would add power steering. They're missing the ball there imo. Spiderman
Or maybe they realized how ridiculously expensive their sleds already are without it.
Steve F6
I was really hoping for a 670cc etec. I kinda like that blue colour on the mxz's. The lynx's sure look awesome too! Pricing on a 600r X package isnt that bad, imho the 850 aint worth the extra dough.

Me being the consumer figured it shouldn't cost more. Lol. There is a whole group of Yamaha riders looking for a new brand. I think PS would seal the deal for the vast majority of them. Or, you could look at it from the other lense, they'll have to replace those sleds at some point, if the 2 left making sleds don't offer it - it's a non factor and we're not spending any RND money on it. signfan
Will be interesting to see how Polaris handles potential tarriffs. Would be a tough sell to snow check one. I can see there cdn snow check numbers dropping big time. Between us product boycotts and price uncertainty ski doo is the only option imo for snow check. Ski doo will have similar issues selling into the us market.

Yep you're 100% correct unfortunately. That is what is occurring. Any new projects they just sit on for another year. Competition is a good thing which we now have less of.
Spiderman
I just built a sled that I think covers what I would want/need and the price was $17,249.00 Much lower than I expected - and in a range I would consider if I were in the market.

That's reasonable in today's world but these tarrifs coming up might make polaris super expensive. Even skidoo importing parts so I see it could get crazy too. I can get an 850xc 146 with standard gauge for about 2k cheaper than when I snowchecked my 17 assault.

Absolutely some great deals out there right now - but still can't justify shelling out the cash to have it sit in the garage for 99% of the year.

I have about 25 hours on sled and around 125 moving pushing snow. Hasn't been fun with all wind we get. Today I got drive way bladed and blow back down to gravel finally. First time it's been decent since before Saturday's storm. Burned over 100 L of diesel since Saturday.
