Which was preceded by this concept Mirage II back in the 70s:

& this Elite:

Used to see a sledder on Eels Lake back in the 90s in one.

I seem to recall seeing a 2 seater east of Dorset back in the winter of '09. Not sure if it was the 1st gen Elite or the silver version. That was the only time I ever saw 1 out on the trails.

Well you have to wear 1 (off your property) in a UTV or SxS that has a roll cage & seat belts...

This one has Razr seats, an oversized hot -rodded motor, Yamaha front end, custom clutching, and EPS.

Surprised the heck out of me, and a LOT of other sledders who happen upon it.

They aren't terrible to drive  on groomed trails. But can feel a little tippy with the regular ski stance,if driven aggressively. That one would be sweet with the mods he has done. But they are like Canadian force helicopters,10 hrs in the shop for every hr riding.

Google enclosed/concept snowmobile & you get a lot of hits for it. Nobody remember the yellow 'doo I'm thinking of? I'm sure it had a similar track drive set up & a single ski up front.

I was thinking of the Alpine when I typed that. Denis would be all over that!

On twin tracked Ski-Doo race sleds they had a clutch/ brake system that would release the inside track for turning left.Don't you think a modification  like thatwould have served the Alpine well. lol

Saw a alpine for sale the other day.

Had a moment and drove on....

I guess I should have kept one of the fleet..

Good ones are hard to come by.  I'm just waiting for the track to rip off of our Cheyenne so I can drop the engine in my Alpine.  At least I'll be able to put heated grips on it and ride it beyond -10 ...

I doubt that it is even real.

More likely just a computor generated pic.

I don't see those skis ever getting much further than the trailer.

Also - it appears to just be a single seater.

You are correct Ox!  Googled it and came up with this link      https://snoriderswest.com/article/general/top_10_concept_snowmobiles_pulled_from_cyberspace       that shows the same pic plus some other wild-looking dream sleds.
