    • Hey Nutter, with times changing and economic conditions etc why does the OFSC leadership not be more open with the numbers?   Permits sold last year? Revenues? Costs?   Many people believe after a couple poor seasons the OFSC should have had huge bankroll for last year.  Now the cuts with no explanation to general public!
    • I believe SF is referring to places of business to stop for a meal.
    • Without the in-kind efforts of volunteers and land owners, all there would be for sledding is trespassing, ungroomed free riding on Crownland, and private riding parks like Haliburton Forest.  Without profit no one is getting into the snowmobiling industry.  Hence why Yamaha walked off the snow.  Riders have already expressed in actions that they are only willing to pay so much to ride.    Created, built and maintained by sledders because they wanted trails to ride on. When others wanted to ride those trails, clubs asked for donations, none volunteering ridership outpaced donations and changes were made to support the trail system that grew and grew when times were good. Changes are again being made to fit with the climate and economy and falling ridership. Personally I think the true spirit of why and how the trails even exist is not being considered in these changes, or respected by the new generation of riders.     t
    • Trails are open every day normally until the season is over.
    • With less trails snow won't setup with traffic either. I find less places open Monday, Tuesday typically. That only leaves Wednesday Thursday and half a day Friday before it's gets a zoo again.
