Puggz
As I carry full coverage on my sled, is there a way to recoup the insurance portion of the Quebec pass? TIA< P.
Gadgetman
Yes. I think it is\was about $40. What wasn't clear to me if there is an admin charge to process the insurance. There web site should have the details.
Sksman
If you buy the Quebec pass and keep the insurance portion will that portion cover you before your Ontario sled insurance? i have a QC permit and was wondering how a liability claim would work? Fuse6
If you’re on FB go to the Quebec Rider group. There is a good recent post there explaining how to do it. There is two different ways, the one they charge you a $23.00 service charge so you net $12.00. The other method you will get something like $37.00 back. ecarnell
Earlier this month I got two cheques back for $37.49 by filling out 2 separate forms online via their website for our sleds this year . Cheques came before passes arrived. NO extra charges. https://snowmobile.intact.ca/intact-forms/intactformsdb/webdrrcmotoneiges.do?action=web&lang=en

Not sure either. My guess is you would have to use your insurance first until used up then Quebec liability would cover rest. Kind of like health insurance you always use your own policy first then your wife’s kicks in. 🤷🏽♂️

No, your sled liability coverage is primary.

PISTON LAKE CRUISER
I see the big railbed (Quebec 93) from Desmaraisville past Chapais and almost to Chibougamau is officially open.

PLC I’ve never ridden in Quebec and I don’t know how to use their ITG. I understand the OFSC ITG, Red, Yellow, and Green trail status, but I don’t see that on the Quebec map. Maybe they are more sophisticated and you can only see current map/trail conditions with a log-in attached to your permit!

Hit the Snowflake icon in top right corner. Then can select Trail Conditions to see what’s open. Also can select Grooming Map. Once they get grooming the map is updated at 6:00 AM and 1:00 PM daily. 1

On my laptop the open trail colouring(s) show when the map opens without clicking on the snowflake.
