  1. They have to move them to make room for the new models or take yamaha's lead. I can't see doo, poo, or cat getting out of the sled biz anytime soon. From experience, the best time get a new non-current is early fall, before or after the show. For some reason, I've seen good deals but never seen the best deals during the show. BTW,you're gonna love the XCR
  2. Does anyone here have one of these they can lend or rent me? I have my wife's ZR6000 Ltd apart and would like to ensure that the clutch's are aligned before I put it back together. TIA< P.
  3. Look at Arctic Cat starting in 2018. They had a surplus of new non-currents up to 4 years old. They put up huge rebates and sold them all. I purchased a 2016 AC Lynx for my wife in 2019. $8600 retail and I paid $4500 BRAND NEW. Then sold it during covid for $7500..lol. The dealers will get support from the manufactures or they'll lose the dealers. Stay tuned but a new sled for $4k off list is coming (again).
  4. I have the option to purchase the lift from Royal Dist. or the one Princess Auto sells, both at the same price. Please share your experiences! P.
  5. Leaf Springs, although I don't think a Torsion axle upgrade would be that big of a deal. Rear door height is 66" (5'6") Also includes rear stabilizer jacks and spare tire More pics added.
  6. Listing this for a close friend and when he informed me that its for sale I thought about this forum as a good place to post. Details: 2017 Neo, 7x14', ramp door, single axle, elec. brakes, 2 tone color (grey and black), and upper aluminum cabinets in the vee nose, stabilizer jacks, spare tire. Now the good part - only used during the summer to haul his Harley around - no snow, ice, or salt. Stored in-doors (heated shop) when not in use. Replacement value is about $13k plus taxes and fees Asking $7500.
  7. Really good buy, check the classifieds
  8. Thats fixed now. All VR1s and Assaults come with the 7s.
  9. Yes, I added a few accessories but it still would need carbides, studs, freight, and taxes. About $39k on the trail and there's still more that can be done/added.
  10. As I get older a more advanced suspension starts to be more and more important. Even quebec seems to be rougher than I remember (latest trip to Mont Valin). As long as it doesn't impact handling I'd be willing to spend the extra for the DS for sure. My wife has a Cat with the iAct but it adjusts all the dampers together which I feel is the weak point of that system. P seems to have delivered something special here.
  11. Wowza eh Mike, so many options but lots of good advise. A little work now won't hurt is what I believe. Most conservative/cautious approach is a follows. Just take it from there. Replace fuel stabilize new fuel Run sled on a stand until it reached operating temps or even a bit longer to ensure that all the old fuel is gone Fog Put battery on a tender Store until next season. Best advise is to find some place to ride it. Even if its only for an hour or so. Then treat it as you normally would.
  12. yes, only when moving and changes in pitch with speed. Guess it could be any number of things.. I'll get it up on the stand and start snooping around..lol
  13. She hasn't been ridden at all this winter so it sounds like a good off season project. I had to pull it out of the trailer on saturday (-20) and is was like wah-wah-wah.. so it has to be something drive shaft related. Mrs is 130lbs w/gear so it shouldn't be anything on the skid frame.
  14. I've been following the polaris pricing, 22 to 24 and they haven't moved much or at all since Jan. I expect that mid/late March will be the time for the best selection and prices. Even if the published price hasn't dropped it would be worth a phone call.
  15. Sorry, i sent you a PM
  16. Without taking it apart, how can you tell if there's an issue? Case and point - my wife's '19 ZR6000 (2000km) makes a whining noise when its moving and the pitch of the noise is speed related. Any thoughts on what this could me?
  17. Holy crap, I can pull 1/2 tons outta the ditch with that thing..lol. just looking for lite duty but good to know
  18. Looking for a hitch for a '19 Arctic Cat ZR or Yamaha Viper in the off chance someone is sitting on one. Checked all the dealers and no one has stock. Please let me know, need to tow a Pelican sled for ice fishing :). OEM only please. Part numbers: AC - 6639-541 Yamaha - SMA-8JP79-00-00
  19. Great info. If that's the case then all Shell 93 will be E Free. The refinery isn't going to make 2 versions of the lowest volume selling octane they make. I've also heard that there's no E in any grade of fuel during the winter months (northern ont.). I would highly recommend filling a jerry can and testing it tho before you dump a bunch into a sports car or a boat. At the end of the day, if this is misinformation you'll be SOL on any recourse (IE impossible to prove). Premium fuels are the biggest money makers (highest profit margin) for the station owners so "trust, but verify"
  20. You're not blind, I missed mentioning the size of the Jacket. Its a mens medium, fits true to size (unlike the gloves..)
