I read the words Police beat in the link, and really got my hopes up.

I didn't think Yamaha snowmobiles ever got stolen. He must've had SkiDoo covers on them.

Mind you Yamaha owners must be disappointed as to the values given for the sleds...

Those sleds can be driven for 10+ years and not replaced every year or two.

Two sleds and a trailer,  trafficking under $5000.  Hard to be under that value even if old beater equipment

it was $5,000 for each item... 3 counts - 1 for each sled and 1 for the trailer

Is it better for police to lay 3 charges under $5,000 all separate or one charge of over $5,000?

How does system work?   Will 3 smaller charges stick better then 1 bigger charge?

They will negotiate the 3 back to 1 more than likely

My guess is each separate as they each had their own title or reg numbers.
