I had an appointment with a customer this morning. I couldn’t get way until the afternoon. The couple buddies I called were busy so I went alone. Rode from Orangeville up the railbed to Markdale. Did a side loop on the Durham side trails and then back down the railbed. I followed a guy on an old F Cat coming back and I wish I’d stopped to chat when he pulled off the trail. We ran the same pace and blew by the same ignorant groups who refused to let us by. Everything south of Shelburne should be closed. Good snow once you get above Dundalk. i rode the Mach Z. Are you proud of me Stoney?8 points

Kanawata to clova, around 255. 83 to parent was good. 83 closer to clova had some thin sections, especially the area that had forest fires this past summer from I assume combination of logging now going on and lack of wind protection with so many trees burnt up….quite a bit of damage caused by the fires. A few pictures, beauty day with the bright sun and cold.4 points

Lol, nice to have choices!! talking about passing people….we caught up to some slower groups and they all wave us by when safe to do so. I actually commented how this sadly doesn’t happen often in Ontario. great to get out, seems like more seat time for you this year!3 points

In Muskoka you really dont need anything more than a 600. But the extra power.............................2 points

I didn’t want another cat so bought the doo. I knew it wouldn’t compete with the cat, which I was fine with. I’m happy I bought the doo, even more now.2 points

Mine with and without the kit will get to 100mph fast, but as blackstar said, the doo doesn’t have the legs like the cat beyond that. With the kit though, the 0 to 100 jam is a huge improvement. I haven’t really tried any top speed runs, honestly though, that doesn’t interest me much, I much prefer the bottom end pull/thrill.2 points

The throttle response or lack thereof is was keeps me off a 900R. For the riding I do, it would make the most sense but I just hate how far you have to get into the throttle to make it do anything.2 points

My buddy bought a left over '23 900R Adrenaline for $18k plus the crap, I think he was quoted $2k more for a '24. A cheap Sidewinder is $24k+ and a ThunderCat is $28k. Throw $2k at the Doo and it will run with the Cat. Throw $800 at the Cat and the Doo is left behind. The complaint about the Doo is that it runs out of gas at 70 mph while the Cat keeps on pulling. Remember that I am riding the Suzuki Turbo Cat with a trail tune, (225HP cost me $400). At 50 mph, you grab more throttle and it tries to pull the bars from your hands past 100 mph. The Doo is good down low but that top end rush is just not the same.2 points

Been thinking about it. Gonna talk to Ledger for some details but I know he likes them. One of the Sledaddicz guys had Ledger put the kit on his new 900R. They did an install video and he did a riding review from Gaspe. I don't need one but.......lol The throttle response is definitely lacking on these sleds compared to my Cat. Especially when you're at speed.2 points

I installed this kit on my 900TR and finally got a chance to try it out. so far, very good and very happy with it, with no issues and anyone looking to add some more jam and much better throttle response, this is a great kit, awesome performance gains and I think for a reasonable price.1 point

All I meant to say was once you buy the ZR 9000 or Thundercat then likely to add the tunes. My buddy just did his ZR 9000. I will ride probably it next week.1 point

Do you really notice that much of a difference between 129 and 137. i kind of recall when I went from my F7 to my crossfire years ago , that was the same jump, I recall the track feeling more planted, but that was about it.1 point

Yes mid week does not look promising AGAIN ,lots of guys wondering why trails aren’t open 15 mins after the snow ,they never seise to amaze me1 point

As Toyman mentioned, turn right on O'Connor Drive, cross the railway tracks and there was a large parking area on the right side. We parked there for a week one year with no issues. In fact it still shows on Google Earthview.1 point

NIce. Yes my Mach does run out of breath over 60 . But ive been bitten before when I upgraded the power on sleds. So ill keep it stock. I like it when my sleds start and run. Great riding sled so far. I really dont feel a difference from an 850 twin. Hoping to get a few miles on it over the next two weekends.1 point

Wasn’t sure if you had the tune on the Cat, my buddy did one reasonably cheap too on his and it’s a weapon.1 point

Yes I did she hated the Viper and before that it was a 2008 Nytro that she loved we had 3 Nytros most hated them but it was probably the most fun sled I ever rode at least at the time lol My son rides one of our sleds when he is able to go so we have always had two identical sleds but Pam also said she’s not riding a 600 🤣🤣1 point

We ran Amos to Matagami and back yesterday. I was about 10km out from gas when the sled started coughing. Dumped in some of the linqs gas. Took 35litrs to fill in matagami. Minty the whole way up! No restaurant open on sundays in matagami. Food stuff at gas station we heated up later at warm up shack. Came back down same way. Dumped all gas in at lower warm up shelter. Still took 35 litres in amos. Fast running and chewing fuel with 2 900T's. All trails in great shape. Dinner at st.huberts. The river crossing is fine in amos but still shows closed. Heading back to Temis today and will update tonight. One of the riders on the abitibi map cover sure looks very familiar lol!1 point
