  2. Wondering if I can get a little help. Going to put my trailer up for sale, and wondering what it is worth as I have not been into trailering for years, as I moved from southern ont to my place in cochrane. it hasn't been use in 5 years, only use it to store my sleds in. Before that I usually trailered prob 3 time during the winter. Been looking on market place and not getting much help on $ value as there usually differant styles. It is a 2014 mission 101"x12' very decent condition couple small scratches on front and the mission stickers are showing there age from the sun. it comes with 2 spare tires. Has Torsion axle. Has old sled tracks on ramps and I put hard wood planks for ski guides. Any idea what they go for nowadays, any thoughts would be appreciated. I will post in buy and sell area when I get a idea what it is worth. Thanks

    Gaspe by SXS

I’ve looked into it a bit more they have IQuad very similar to I moto niege . Most of the trails don’t open till may 15 so there’s not much showing up get .
  6. When I rode Gaspe on sled I used BRP Go app. No cell service in a lot of the area but gps in phone tracks your position and updates as you go…Was awesome..I thought those same trails were atv-sxs trails during the rest of year. I have not seen it but I think Quebec has an atv trail map website same sort of thing as the Quebec snowmobile trail website?

    Gaspe by SXS

Yes it currently can be . the group I watched had mostly big horn tires there just a 4 ply we have 8 ply tires you can still puncture them but you’re odds are better. I carry a spare and lots of tire plugs
  8. Are flat tires a common issue?

    Gaspe by SXS

I watched a You tube guy that has done this a couple times this is his route. Most of the group he is with are even older than me lol and it’s a fairly large group and they had a host of problems . Most of the tails are fairy good pace and there’s only 2 couples going I think it should be ok . I’ve rode Gaspe 4 times by sled but have never been there in the summer
  11. Those mileages seem to be alot for daily rides on a SXS??
  12. Has anyone done the Gaspe loop by SXS just wondering what maps to use ? Planning on leaving end of July starting in Amqui . Tentative route so far . Amqui to Point a la croix - 219 km Point a la croix to New Carlisle - 245 km New Carlisle to Perce 183 km Perce to Murdochville 235 km Murdochville to Mount-Saint-Pierre 75 km Mont-Saint -Pierre to Cap Chat 149 km Cap Chat to Amqui 164 km
  13. Nothing at moment still using it. Boss told me to get rid of it but I am stubborn and like to keep my equipment deprication at a reasonable level.
  14. What tractor have you got for sale?
  15. Hahaha. I am always honest have nothing to hide. I buy some equipment used too and usually get same respect. Sometimes you just get a lemon and they all don't get squeezed out during warranty period. Some of fixes are pathetic.
  16. Note...don't buy a tractor from this guy.....🤣
  17. Hahahaha. I do the same with some tractors. Out of sight out of mind. Then you don't have to drudge that phone call. I have one that's giving me abit of grief at moment. Needs tires now too. I think I just trade that one in.
  18. Neat pic from the cams tonight. Looks like Northern lights but, is just a long sunset. It did snow and covered the grass, tonight. Ski
  19. I always look at my sled and say "Could I sell this to a friend with a clear conscience?" If the answer is "No' then I trade it in.....lol
  20. I keep the tax savings. My dealer charges me $200 per sled to run them through and the buyer pays $149 licensing fee plus his taxes
  21. Do you spilt some of savings with buyer or do yoy keep it all. Does dealer add on a pass thru fee of some sort too to cover there time? Thanks
  22. The dealer I normally deal with has no problem running a sled through them but he also hasn’t been taking trades . He doesn’t sell X3 s SXS so I bought from another dealer they would take my sled on trade at a ridiculous low price plus the new sled was 400 more and would not let me run my sled through them .
  23. I usually trade at dealer as it saves on taxes, hassle free and you dont have to worry about buyer not switching out of your name. Last time though, I had a Cat and Doo dealer told me straight up they did not want to take on trade, it had 16Km on it. Put it on FB market place and priced right, I was glad to sell and buyer was happy with price, all worked out in the end.
  24. Some just don't want to do it for a few reasons. A few guys on here seem to do it often and dealers co-operate. Anything to save some taxes when purchasing a new one that's for sure. Also makes sure no liens on it for buyer.
  25. Grass is starting to green up. Hoping for a trip up Thursday, for a long weekend. Need to spring clean, rake, fertilize, weed n feed, the lawn. We haven't been up since Valentine's. Hoping for a long summer, like last year... Went to the 3rd week in October. Ski
  26. Hmmmm, the couple I was at I mentioned it and they looked at me like I had 3 heads lol.
