      I am not saying it’s impossible, but I am saying it’s a rare enough occurrence that it is a non thought factor for me.   0 concern, 0 worry.   crap can always happen, but that isn’t something I am going to be concerned about.I

      Sled prices falling large ?

      I have found that you need a good quality cord to ensure a decent connection with BRP Go and the 10.25 screen.     Apparently not all cords are considered data transfer cords.     Some of the cheapies are really for charging only.     It pains me to pay for them but I only run an Apple cord to my sled.    The amazon knock offs stay in my car.

      I am not trying to de-rail this thread but I am going way out of my comfort zone and just picked up an Ice Arrowhead track for my 26 MXZ850.       It appears to be the best pre-studded track on the market today.    I am looking forward to trying it.

      Until last year, I always said the same, and similar for group rides. In 30 years of group touring, and local hot dogging, I had never thrown a stud that caused damage and had only ever seen two damaged heat exchangers from studs in well over 100,000 sled km.. Bare in mind that most of those miles were on 2 ply tracks. Single ply tracks are a different animal. Last year a tear out stud punctured my heat exchanger and ended a tour early, just north of North Bay. I replaced the track with an Ice Attack after hearing good things about them. I had owned a sled that came with an Ice Ripper, which I felt lacked enough bite. I had a couple of rides with the Ice Attack late last winter and the traction was acceptable. Nothing varies more from sledder to sledder than studding expectations, requirements and results. My current track is good enough that I won't be going back to full size studs, but I am just looking for a little safety on an a n/a 900 ace.
