    • I get that, but it doesn't mean anything in terms of the overall and doesn't mean anything about sustainability or growth. All it has done is provided cash flow, which you need, but it runs out when the sales run out.   Until the total # of permits sold and at what price is known, you don't know if you had any growth whatsoever, and quite possibly, if full permit priced permits tanks because everyone bought early, you're potentially at a net loss compared to last year.   40% GROWTH is a huge, HUGE increase.  I don't believe snowmobiling grew by 40% from last year. Take the TOTAL permits sold by last year and add 40% to that number and let me know if you believe that.
    • I disagree with your statement. In our District alone early sales were up well over 40% to the end of November. That means a lot more money that the OFSC has available at a time of year when there are traditionally high expenses due to start up costs which could translate to a savings in borrowing costs.
    • I would also vouch for Spectacle Lk Lodge..being just off B trail easy area to stay and ride out of. I’ve visited and eaten there several times but never stayed over night. Always great staff and seems to get good reviews 👍
    • I dont see the need to be throwing insults at the guy. I've met him once years ago at the watercross races in Gravenhurst and he seems like a nice guy. Being former mayor of Muskoka Lakes he must have some good contacts in political/business world. If that helps brings in money for the OFSC then thats good in my book.    As they should be. The powersports and hospitality business's here depend on it. Trail cuts in my opinion hit differently in a financial sense up here as opposed to SW ontario.
