    • Sounds like you are getting a new BRP dealer next spring.
    • We have no snowmobile dealers close to Owen Sound.  I wont buy new again so it doesnt bother me. Short of a blown motor, I do all my own service and repairs. A used sled is a far better investment for me.
    • That isn't how you explained the work in your previous posts. You should have asked first for the price of the pre season service before the work was done and for an itemized invoice at pickup. 2 sides to this story it seems.
    • Service costs isn't exactly known. Any time they add a part they add extra labour. For battery they added 1.25 hours  to install it even though they have to remove it for chaincase service anyways. That's one example how they run bill up. They have standard charges for everything install new battery is one of them automatically attach labour charge too it. This hapoens  at big tractor dealers too.  Sometimes you think it should cost 700 to get sled out and it costs 1200 😂. After that service it over heated on first ride and I had to bleed coolant on trail. Never made it more than two or three miles from trailer. They must have lifted rear end hp high or something Never had that happen before.  I had another run in with same dealer over a vent trac tractor. I am done with them after those two experiences. I am going Polaris now 👌
    • So if it’s a pre-service package, the price of it is known upfront before you take your sled in… Im sure there are other options to buy relays from for I’m sure a fraction of the cost if looking to save a buck, same as doing the work yourself.  At the end of the day you have an owner that has shelled out a lot of money to have that dealership and the inventory (debt) that goes along with it, I don’t think they strive to not look after their clients - would not be a wise financial decision.  whereas a smaller shop that does service only and does not have that debt can likely do the same work for less, making you think like you are more valued.
