Back about 2003, 4 of us rode from Forest to Kapuskasing. 3 cats and a new Yamaha RX1. Did it in 3.5 days. We were all 24-28. Met uncles in Kap with the trailer, and we drove home and they ride back. I think the took 5 days. As for regrets or missed opportunities? None, because I not done sledding.

Those SkiDoo 600s are great until you need to do ANYTHING under the hood. They have to be the worst sled ever built for access.

Seriously? You need to do some more and better research before making a statement like that. There is not a darn thing that is the same from a Blast to the Catalyst. Ok, maybe a track option but nothing else.

Talked to a guy Friday night who was just at 3 Bears and he said it was great. Auld Reekie in Gowganda was great for ATVs 5 yrs ago but don't know about now.

Just got back from the Yoop. Conditions were variable, from OK to excellent. Stayed in Munising and went both east and west. Grand Marais was OK, Marquette was excellent. Don't go too far south from either, conditions were noticeably worse further south when driving up

Skis touch walls before any part of the sled. So I put in the sleds, and mounted a couple of floor anchors where they were convenient. Pull front ends slightly towards the walls, and straight down with the rear. Have towed for 6hrs with no contact between sleds. And axle setback is enough to keep proper weight on the tongue.

Drive the first in, slide rear end over, and back in the 2nd. Easily room for 2. Erased the picture that I did have on my phone, but easily fit my 137 Procross and a 129 Polaris or another Procross.

I have a couple trailers at my disposal, and having just a basic V-nose 6x12, makes it easy for me for just 2 sleds. Will it last forever? Nope but at $7g brand new when I bought it a year ago, who cares. I oil spray it before winter, and it gets used every week in the summer for the kids race truck. For more sleds, we have an all aluminum 7x19? that we can get 4 in when needed

Same. Left NL yesterday, and to Latchford trails were OK. From the dam to Temagami were heavenly. Had lunch at Temagami Shores and continued south. And from Martin River to the D were the same, absolutely perfect

We will be back. Oh and breakfast at the 17 Restaurant in Blind River. Fairly priced and excellent. And Rustys Cafe for dinner in Blind River was.......... interesting. Rusty is an interesting character.

No. Rods from Killarney to Little Current , then over to Whitefish Falls. Wasn't going to do a big crossing that wasn't staked.

So why do more people not ride this area? It was absolutely great. Trails were fantastic. Lots of different loops available. Rode from Killarney across Georgian Bay. Neat to do, but don't need to do it again. But from Whitefish Falls to Blind River and up to Elliot Lake and back to Espanola is something I am going to do again. Over 3 days and I would guess we met maybe 30 sleds.

Thanks. Looking to leave French River area then down to Killarney. Then next day hop across to Manitoulin, back to mainland and west towards Thessalon. . Next day loop north and east.

What are the trails like on the north shore of Georgian Bay? Spanish, Blind River, Thessalon, SSM. Really tight and twisty? Or more flowing? Is a 300km day a long day there? Or??? Leaving in the AM and heading that way

Officers on trail in Sudbury yesterday checking specifically for trail passes. Checked all 5 of us, and another 8 or so while we sat close.

Never owned anything that needed them, but I have been multiple times with/for friends, and they have always been very helpful.

Never used one, but didn't even think I would need one for the Mission. Haven't worn it yet, but friend who has one never does.

Where did you race? Just curious, because I believe they were testing them at SOAR around the time I quit racing. Forget if it was Bickle who brought them or Fawaz.

Got about 5kms of my break in period done. More snow fell after this.
