yes sir they are. They should be less money to buy, but even if they aren't, the maintenance cost will be much less. I ride a 2003 cr250, I have a couple engines and suspensions for it, easy to maintain, but certain parts are not being reproduced and the manufacturer has no longer produces them. I have been looking at a new yz250x. It's a buyers market right now, pricing has dropped considerably. It will be nice for Kawi to rejoin the bigger 2stroke market.

Biggest regrets or missed Opportunities.....Sledding
Wildman replied to Candubrain's topic in Main Clubhouse
I don't have any missed opportunities yet, the only part of the province I have yet to ride is west of Red Rock, lake of the woods is on the bucket list. For years the D trail on the north shore of Superior had eluded us, it wasn't completely open for many years due to low snow conditions, in 2009 the stars all aligned and the trip was completed and it was an amazing ride. The following year much of that district was dismantled and the D trail has never been complete since, so that was almost a missed opportunity. Organized snowmobiling has changed so much, I still ride but not on OFSC trails, gone back to the grass roots and it is so much more enjoyable. I think the haydays where 10y, 2000-2010, the organization was really rolling and for the most part riders where respectable, then the wheels came loose and things changed, the whole deal is off the rails now. -
I saw plenty of trucks driving through town packed full of snow today. Mother nature seems to be all excited about the carbon tax inflation.

Those tires don't typically go as many miles as one would expect. I sell quite a few Toyo Open Country AT3, good wear and smooth. Doesn't hurt to look.

I have been following her website, she has quite a few pics from this year, her trips to James Bay.....not much snow. Lots of exposed rocks. Just a crazy year.
-
Lol, they are all overpriced junk.
-
Yup, just like everything else, the ones that understand ride the highs and the lows and adapt to available riding opportunities, the rest try and bail. Bailing right now is going to come at a huge loss.

There certainly isn't much demand for them.

A quick search of the globe shows a grim reality, the only cold weather is in Nunavut now and the foreseeable future. I gotta believe these chemclouds are not helping with what we are look for as in a normal winter. You really have to wonder why weather forecasts are off even further then normal. There are reasons, it's just dependent on accepting those reasons.

Yes, even the shores of Hudson Bay are forecasting warmer weather, extremely warm for there this time of year.

Ya, OFSC doesn't list a district 8 anymore, MOST website is still up, but no new news and nothing on the 2024 season. Weird.

If we look back to the beginning, we have lost allot of great contributors. This last deal, I don't really understand. I guess some are not happy and have left, I respect that. The last few years the whole world has changed, there is separation everywhere, it has no boundaries. It's up to each individual to either get along, ignore, forget or forgive. There have been many over the years I didn't think much of, no different then every day life, mostly I just let it roll off. I've been part of some heated discussions on here, it is what it is, at the end of the day we all love the same sport. I wish the others would just come back and get over their differences, but if they don't they don't. It's their choice, and I firmly believe we all have a choice, just as our charter of Freedoms and rights states. This is a tuff season province wide for our sport, I hope everyone finds happiness in what they are doing and gets to do some sledding, wherever that may be.

I still have mine and use it often, problem is all these wheel/tire combo's are getting wider and taller, they don't fit so well in the tank.
