    • Group of us are going this coming Saturday, I will try and post some pics and a report
    • its a bit of a hike but here's a couple of suggestions Timmins- Cedar Meadows with the wolf cabins, they have a spa and a nice restaurant on site and wagon ride everyday.   Temagami Shores is quite night and the cabins/rooms are very well done.   Spectacle Lake Lodge has always been one of my favourite places to visit over the years.    Hope this helps
    • The OFSC's marketing team that covers social media has to walk a really fine line with what they publish, I know from years of personal experience doing the PPSC page and even on the sledding forums how things can easily get away from you if you post too much info. There's always someone that will question and disagree with things no matter what you post, it can become extremely time consuming when you're dealing with couch critic trolls.   Honestly I don't know the answer to keeping things clear and constant between all levels Provincial, District and Clubs right down to permit buyers. Some club exec spend a lot of time researching how things are actually run and who is responsible for what and how, and do a fantastic job keeping people informed with the actual true facts. Then there's clubs that just give their own opinions with zero research into the facts and make things tough for everyone.    Personally I can usually spot the difference between the two, in seeing what clubs are flourishing with pride of their tight well run operation and great trails, and vibrant active social bond with members and local riders, vs the dark cloud clubs blaming everyone and everything around them for everything, with little to no volunteers and no bond with local ridership. Really who wants to be a part of the latter ?    Despite the OFSC trying many different ideas from many different people, this hasn't changed in my decades of involvement.    I mean really, think about it.  With the amount of turn over I've seen in the past 25 years with staff, ExCom and the Board Of Governors for some to always have an evil boogie man in place out to destroy sledding, while lining their pockets is just absolutely insane. I don't even understand how people can think like that LOL
    • Couples resort in Whitney is popular..so I’m told, I’ve personally never stayed. Lots to do and see in Algonquin park and surrounding area. Plus…your right on the B trail if you wanted to go for a rip!!
    • It's the same with everything these days, everyone thinks they know better or have a better opinion than everyone else.  The new global mantra seems to be  "I don't want to let the facts get in the way of my opinion"
