    • We're at the middle of August and we still don't know what groomer(s) we will have in our stable.    Yes, post season maintenance/warranty work has been done.    However, we still have the BR180 with the broken axle. Is it being mothballed or do we fix it? Do we have one or two groomers this season? Do we fix up the groomer and drag from another club that we have in our possession? Will it be our groomer for this season? Don't know.   Side note: The trail we gave up last year for the "OFSC trail reduction" plan(15+kms) has been OFSC approved/good to go for this season.    Other than removing as much signage as possible prior to "Dougie's" influx of cash in Dec 2025, we haven't touched that trail. There's many work days/weeks worth of work to clean up the March 2025 Ice Storm damage and much of it can only be accessed after the swamps/lakes are frozen. Problem is, the OFSC shuts down trails that haven't seen a groomer or opened in 2 years, outside of situations out of our control. Trail hasn't been open in 2 years. We probably have an extra year. Is it worth the effort if we still have 30+ kms of other trails that haven't been touched since that ice storm (solid 10 days work)? First world problems...lol..
    • That's the way it sounds. All provinces. Something is better than nothing. The OFSC sent it down so I assume it has some merit.   I have doubts that Carney has ever been on a snowmobile. ..lol..   Would be good to have federal/provincial support to keep our sport alive and also keep the tax revenues up. Throw some of that gas tax/val tag revenue in our direction.   It also helps the other user groups on the trails that we share. If we fail, there will be an enormous amount of trail work and costs, ie bridges, culverts, washout rebuilds, brushing, etc that will have to be absorbed by the other user groups. Side note: We, the snowmobile clubs, do the majority(95%) of bridge refurbishing(labour) in our areas. The other groups do equally help financially.
    • When we are having a garage meeting 2 wheel is called no deal    LoL. As cold finger states 10 k from our place and tried to get a bit of a deal but no go. Always delt with Lockharts.  Will definitely be interesting how things unfold
    • There were never any deals at 2 wheel either
    • Did the same here. I even knew the saleman at 2 Wheel personally and Lockhart's was $1500 cheaper.
