Each Year I have to request a COI from our district so I can send to specific landowners. It would be nice if the Landowner tool had a check box to automatically send a COI to these landowners. It would sure help me as I am just an unpaid volunteer with too much to do in season prep. I have setup 5 to 10 year MOU's so automatic sending of these files would be appreciated. I think I will suggest this at our next meeting as I have a few other suggestions for the landowner tool. Jerry -
I think other than the need for a few specialty tools needed to be bought, the gas to recharge them, might be the only tools needed, plus possible parts like seals, etc…and a bit of know how. if you are only doing your own shocks, I’m not sure it’s worth doing yourself. John at accelerated is great, but has become too busy/popular and unless you are in there early, you are waiting, dean at peak is great, turns them around in a week or less. never used him for shocks, but I think Chris at ledger does shocks. -
Try frank at Shock Tech in Drayton Ont or Accelerated technologies in Buckhorn, both very good. I have never ventured into shock rebuilds, If you talk to them, they may recomend some changes for compression or dampening , due to your weight, set up and riding style, How many KM on your sled ? just wondering as I have about 7km and was thinking they may need freshening up, no leaks or issues that I am aware of, some guys rebuild every season ? anybodies thoughts on this ? and GO ! -
Where would I go to learn how re-build my shocks. Is this any easy dyi task? Or are we into a more technical job? I’m the guy that will do all of my own services, swap tracks, bearings, etc. Have never really got into motors, clutches or shocks. Is there much to the shocks? A lot of tooling to buy? -
That seems odd, doesn’t it….or perhaps a minor oversight and once realized missing, too late to get a copy or needed an additional insured added, etc… Most insurance companies automatically send the COI annually to their clients upon renewal based on the previous year. Did the OFSC change insurance companies perhaps for this year or with no past activity for this region, what was needed was not on file. sucks regardless.
