    • It is, but seems to be the norm for our club. Just saw a post from our neighboring southern club, guess they are having their own issues with the groomers. Really sucks.
    • To each their own. Even with vehicles - I have never once checked fuel economy when purchasing.  I just don't care. If I like the unit, it requires gas, you need gas, you put gas in it and you go. Is what it is to me.
    • I go to Hampton. Was always easy trail access and gas is there. Not sure if that's changed out trail always started at back of parking lot there.
    • When sdi came out from skidoo. They were leader in fuel economy. No one could touch them. Polaris didn't have a single sled that was fuel efficient then. My Yamaha triple was very good on gas for its time and oil too. Could get about 250 Kmart on groomed trails. Rode it all over never carried gas. Was almost 18,000 Kmart on clock when I sold it. These new engines from Polaris are awesome. Love 650. It's easy sled to ride and goes any where, without second guessing (900 ace have to to second guess if I get stuck or. It and take road) Polaris I can go thru the ditch with my son on board with confidence. Haven't been stuck yet. Don't think we be going back to a four stroke any time soon. Polaris put  just over 700 kms on so far and haven't used my first jug of oil (3.6 L or something) it be over 1000 kms on a jug of oil.  900 ace is earning its keep around farm. I am keeping it as a back up sled and use it around farm with sleigh.
    • Sounds like a great ride - well worth the price of admission!   The talk of gas or oil I think is just that, a topic point for discussion, I do not think based on the amount spent elsewhere in the sport, it will be a game changer, but we like to look at ways to justify maybe buying that new more efficient sled, truck, trailer, etc.....lol   I saw a meme the other day of a nice trailer being pulled by a nice side by side stating - might be the poorest man on the ice but will be the richest man in the grave, or something like that
