I was in Matach' & Gowganda back in '79 as a JR. Our camp was about halfway between Matach' & Swastika. Talking to a couple a few years ago in Algonquin. When the conversation got to snowmobiling she was talking about a place south of Timmins you had to stop for gas. I mentioned a couple of places & she said, "No it's got two words". I said, "Shining Tree" "She said that's the place. LOL Some pics from our '08 Northern Blastoff, from the Moonbeam & Mattice areas along TOP A The following year west of Hearst along TOP A: The bridge is over the Shekak River just north of where Bambino's used to be.
