whits-end Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 It is a very sad day to report the passing of long time Almaguin District Snowmobile Club volunteer Anne Hill, after a courageous battle with cancer. Anne, along with husband Tim, served on probably every board and position with Almaguin over the years. Many Almaguin members will remember her as 'The Permit Lady', and she was relentless in her accuracy of these records; but she donated so much more time than that. When serving on a committee with Anne you absolutely knew she would see the task thru, and do it right. Anne and Tim were also very active in District 11, Near North Trails Association, and last year Tim resigned his Governor position to care for Anne when the diagnosis came in. They were always a team, and left a big hole for Almaguin volunteers to try to fill. Smooth trails, Anne. We all miss you so much. It was far too soon. Smooth Trails.
