Gowganda Lake Camp
Hello everyone... Looks like a new Sledding season is right around the corner. So far the coldest November since we moved here 6 years ago. There has been snow on the ground (1-2 ") for most of the month. This morning we seen the first ice on Gowganda. Just a skim but definatly earlier than last year. Hopefully signs of a good "normal" winter. Ron

Gowganda Lake Camp
Had to run to liskeard today and I see turbojamie and his dad packed from longpoint to ElkLake with their BR. Way to go guy's, this is going to help freeze things up. How was the rock garden? Going to try and cover can-am creek this weekend. We have been getting an inch or two per day the last few days. turbojamie
Ron, thanks for the props. We made out very well the BR sinks in so little it really is the perfect machine for the job. We did from long point to Calcite Creek and turned around didn't want a repeat of last season lol. We broke it the rest of the way to gowganda by sled though. Then from our place to elk lake and back. The road to calcite we rode a bit it was like february conditions the next day. I also rode to elk lake one day and surprisingly with how well the BR packs we were not clipping rocks. I was down the back side of stumpy from our end and ran up the lake, then through the new trail through that cut so its broken as well. Only by sled though its dirty in there. Everywhere along the trail from long point to elk lake is good except where we sunk the commader the year before it needs snow pushed in or some hay bails. Also the BR is pretty handy at packing the trail along Beauty Lake road hopefully someone can make it down with the mowers though some of the trail we could not get to in the fall is nasty and needs a good mowing. Pics are always good! These were the week of January 1st. https://www.dropbox....%2014.30.21.jpg https://www.dropbox....%2014.30.34.jpg https://www.dropbox....%2015.16.54.jpg https://www.dropbox....%2015.17.00.jpg https://www.dropbox....%2015.17.12.jpg https://www.dropbox....%2015.17.21.jpg Enjoying the Fruits of our Labours https://www.dropbox....%2013.07.31.jpg https://www.dropbox....%2013.07.48.jpg
