  1. Too many hands in the cookie jar!
  2. Dam!!… I need to more centrally located! I kinda dig the vintage stuff. Not much for that down in my neck of the woods.. that I know of. I’ve kind of started a collection of vintage 77 ski doo Olympic 340 78 Arctic cat jag 340 72 northway 340 will add pics to this over the weekend
  3. Drop in the bucket for them there fellas!!Dudes like that wipe their ass with $100 bills
  4. Like zigzags? 😉
  5. I believe this to be true. Our club Glencoe, has had a hard go at things for the past few years, yet here we are and have been out staking. Unfortunately, now that we are in the borderline of some snow, our groomer has been transferred up to the Elmira area I believe.
  6. For the first time in my 22 years of buying a yearly permit, I find myself very hesitant to do so again. I am in the most southernly point of the trail system in D5….. for years I have supported and done whatever, wherever, however to help my local club. The snow has been lacklustre to say the least in the last 5 yrs. As much as I love to load up and go for a day, wknd, midweek, or week long trip!…. It’s just becoming too much of an expense. Gone are the days of me leaving w a crew from my doorstep and riding up to Exeter, Grand Bend, Goderich etc!! ….. not too mention a few stops at the ol grain bin Inn, for those of the Mitchell area!😉….. that seems to be my starting point anymore, and it hasn’t been the most pleasant in the few past years but I’ll take it!
  7. In my 25 years of sledding… I learned quickly in my first trip “North” that Huntsville is completely anti sledding! We were not well perceived in any way and since then have had zero desire to spend my money there
  8. I’ve worn a kidney belt as well for as long as I can remember. Was just natural to wear it for Motocross so felt the same for sledding. The odd day where I haven’t worn it….. not so good!
  9. I seen on marketplace a 600 ski doo, think it was a 22 for $9000

Fairly light for me as well considering the conditions and crazy ass weather. Close to 1000kms so far and I’m done. Just got back from a friends in Bancroft area… had to trailer out of his place even w logging and closed trails. Once in the bush things were decent. Just Not worth the 10hr drive to Cochrane when it’s that busy.
  12. Try Shawn Dawkins. He is on Facebook. Has all kinds of Polaris parts. I believe he is located in markstay

I played in December in Dorchester and again in January in Chatham. Will be going again next week.
  14. We dropped in Atwood Saturday morning and on trails by 9am. Great day overall. Decided to try and stay away from heavy traffic areas. Most trails were great in the AM. By time we looped back down around, things were getting fairly tough. Good day all around. Little over 300kms on the dial today. Also hit this milestone today. Bought the sled new in 2012. Motor hasn’t been touched. Still has around 120psi each side.
  15. I’ll take “how did you get the ammonia infection?” For $2000 Alex……… What is, because he’s full of crap!
  16. From what I’ve gathered over your last year or so of posts is that….1 you have rode minimal miles/kms since ‘06, and 2… you clearly have no clue of what hell you are talking about!… I’ve enjoyed the entertainment you’ve spewed over the years here, but….. time to cash out bud!
  17. Seen some recent pics from Hearst… guys riding around town etc. Also seen some pics from Quebec area… lots of snow and people out riding
  18. I’ve been following this journey for a while now as well. Quite the trek for sure. The one gentleman, Rex Hibbert is brother to Kirk Hibbert, Tucker Hibbert’s uncle
  19. From the reports I’ve seen… things look dam near mid season Elk Lake area! Can’t beat staying/staging from elk lake wilderness resort!
  20. Oh I’m certain of that! Lol!
  21. Myself as well. Totally worth it from all reviews I’ve read from here. My brother now lives out there and says it’s a must!! … he also said make sure your ready for a work out! Nothing like the trail riding we do Here!
  22. Only way to break em in!!…. Or so that’s the way we use to do it with the ol dirt bikes…. Could basically rebuild between moto’s! Lol!!……I remember a friend of my dad telling me a story at his funeral about how they rebuilt the top end of an old 340 polaris in old hunt camp they were staying at. Picked it up and turned er sideways through the doorway and set er down beside the wood stove….. they had parts bc their bud owned/operated Polaris dealer.. circa mid to late 70’s..early mid 80’s
  23. I remember that place. Definitely lots of cool units through there over the years. Always remember seeing your ads in auto, boat/bike rv trader. Every time I made it to Stratford I’d stop in and have a gander.
  24. That didn’t take long. Seen it on marketplace. Beautiful machine and very well priced.
