Yeah if anything I need a heavier rear spring. I did look at that yesterday. I hope you’re right on the weather. -
ya, the apples to apples give you a clear picture the massive amount paid less in ON. For the other insurance paid by the FCMQ based on 83,000 permits up to Dec 1 so far would be just shy of 3 mil.....wonder what the insurance bill for the OFSC and its clubs is. Ontario In ON $214.00 Before Nov 1 or in QC $392.00 $425 (October 1 to October 31, 2025) In ON $244.00 Nov 2 - Dec 1 or in QC $417.00 $450 (November 1 to December 15, 2025) In ON $294.00 Dec 2 onwards or in QC $517.00 $550 (purchased after December 15, 2025) -
I do not use them a lot on this sled, my old one I used them a lot.....but nice insurance to have when needed. You will get use to the gauge I think and it will be a non issue. We never hit the forecasted high here, ideally less rain and more snow tonight....bit a bit of rain will be good. Regarding suspension, I assume you have the sag set so the snow is being caught by the flap and hitting heat exchanger out back.

Yeah maybe I should consider the scratchers. I don’t have any installed. I should probably find a way to turn the digital heat gauge off and my issues would disappear as well. Sometimes these issues can be in your head worrying about nothing. As for the head gasket. No visible leaks in the system. No smell or smoke in the exhaust. Coolant levels seemed to have stabilized (lower than I’d like, but still in the reservoir). Nothing is leading me to conclude the head has an issue. Just keep riding for now and see where it goes. Definitely happy to have 300 km in before x-mas. Hopefully the next 24 hours isn’t as bad as forecast weather wise. Trails were really good yesterday. Started playing with suspension settings some. Lots to learn on that front.

$32.77 cover liability with a limit of $1,000,000.00 for the snowmobiler. Mine, for $2,000,000.00 with TD is $64.00 As I've said before, Quebec is NOT Ontario when/how it comes to insurance, tort, and snowmobiles and automobiles. So, the reality is you're getting the same coverage - just in Quebec you get it through the pass being administered vs. purchasing it from a private carrier. Take $32.77 off the price of the Quebec pass and that's your apples to apples cost
