    • Nope, there's no dividing the pot equally, the only thing equal is that every district gets the same amount per km and grooming hour. The burden is that resources outside of the trail km and groomer allotments have to be stretched further. There is other costs involved then just signage and grooming that come out of the district infrastructure funds, culverts and bridging, equip wear and tare and maintenance.  All the Dist Govs from each district had to make this decision based on less money over all for all districts and clubs, as the provincial bottom line has to be spread further.  The big question is did loosing these trails effect permit sales locally and over all provincially ?  Will the area sell enough permits and attract enough volunteers to support the operation of these trails now ?      Honestly when looking at the provincial map, do you think many riders from other districts really care if those trails were reinstated, let alone lose a little funding for that to happen ?
    • http://www.advantagemotel.com   I have spent many nights here. Simple room, yet clean. Great owners. Papa Franco's shares the parking lot.
    • whats the best place to stay on the trail in Kapuskasing   looking for a place with food and drink near or on the trail  thanks
    • So Nutter what I read in your post was about a financial burden on other clubs.   District is given X dollars for trails.   The money is divided equally among clubs!   This does not include grooming.   if 10 clubs each club receives X/10 If 12 clubs each club receives X/12   So a club with 75km gets more per km than a club with 275km?   Is this correct?
    • LOL - seen a few abandoned things in the bush up north over the years!   For some reason this made me remember that crazy video of a couple guys in the US I think that ended up going down a large hill into a frozen lake on a groomer, almost died, the recovery, etc.... Might have been a link to the video on here.
