    • Thanks for the suggestions everyone      a few to ponder for sure.   Best option might be to leave a day early and seeing as she has to work that day I can enjoy riding all weekend and she can sit by our fireplace at home!
    • That's fantastic news. If trails open for Xmas break I bet dealers can sell sleds, more permits. Weather helping for sure.
    • Tough doesn’t mean not possible.  just means tough decisions need to be made for sport longevity and in a better position for the lean years.  I agree that cutbacks need to happen - costs are up, ridership has shrunk, new blood is at a premium.  bail out is nice, but plan for nothing next year or the year after and action accordingly.
    • Tough sport/activity to plan ahead for when we can't control the Weather, or control the Economy for Volunteers and Permit Buyers to comfortably participate, we also can't control reasonable legislation to make Landowners comfortable to participate. What we can do is keep buying a permit to invest in the trail system, get involved and volunteer to help make the best of it, whether it's brushing, grooming, decision and policy making, marketing ... ect.  Sometimes cut backs just have to happen to survive, and sometimes an external bail out comes our way 🍻
    • EARLY permits sales are reported to be up. That doesn’t mean anything more than that.
