    • Back for more of the last of the good stuff today. The drags in the NE of d7 were busy last night and they didnt disappoint. Hats off to them. D103 d101 to 64, 11a, 62 all minty, coffee break at buck horn creek shelter. Fuel at MTH, 63 to 101 all mint up to the Algonquin shelter for another break. Returned on 101, 63, 64, Raven lake, 101 getting soft and the odd rock showing but still real good by this time of the day and back to Baysville for food at cast iron. Great burger. Any road run was short and bearable. Running around 57'C most of the day with out scratchers down, the 600 polaris was running a touch hotter but was studded and no scratchers. D103 back to port was holding up well. Pisten bully is currently out on the west side so for those thinking of dropping at smiths tomorrow you'll be good for another kick at the can but get at it early.
    • I stopped them (before realizing they were OPP) at the road crossing at Heidelberg when I was putting trail closed signs up. I told them the trails were closed but I was glad to see them out as they were the first police I have seen on the trails this season. I questioned why they were here as we are a Regional Police area. He told me that they are Wellington County(next door) OPP and since our regional force doesn't have sled patrol they drop over once in a while. I think they really dropped over today because other than Lake Conestoga, all the other Wellington County clubs closed last night.
    • Looks great!!👍   When you saw the deer, were you in @Blackstar's back yard?🤔
    • Woke up this morning, everything was still open from yesterday, then slowly watched it close up one club at a time, except for Conestoga. Packed up the wife and kid including the sleds and made a run for one last ride in the south.  I honestly couldn’t believe how good they were, it was almost like they went out grooming last night, I really don’t know but they were damn good on this fine day. I can’t remember the last time I was able to take the liner out of my jacket, wear my t-shirt, thin gloves, all vents open and bar warmers off. What a day. Even got to seeBambi!    We may have one more ride in us up north somewhere in a couple weeks, but if not, today would be our last ride. Last year we ended our season in Conestoga, and it just so happens we might’ve done that again today.   Saw 2 other guys out, and then we came across the OPP just before the clubhouse. Both had their panels open when we pulled up behind them, so I asked if they were all good. I guess both of them blew their belts, but the one realized the reason his likely blew was because it was on backwards. They also couldn’t believe how good the trails were.
    • Just came in from a ride trails are in good shape it will depend on how rain we get Saturday
