    • Talked to a dealer.  He said perfectly normal to run anywhere from mid 60’s to mid 90’s.  All within design parameters.  Might put some tape over the digital read out so I stop worrying about it.  lol.
    • Circling back on this.  Do the guys with the turbos find you get higher temps when lake running hard?  Was out yesterday.  Ran in the 70’s temp wise all day.  But the big run up the lake (running 120 km/h breaking trail in a foot of new snow) it got warmer.  Just debating whether I have a weak thermostat or a weak coolant pump.  Do you see higher temps when you open these sleds up for a lake run?
    • I know I am going to get a lot of grief, so let me start off saying I know what goes into opening up trails and all the hard work that goes into getting them ready. I have volunteered in the past with several different clubs, usually locally. However   I am seeing a lot red in traditional snowmobiling areas. At best we maybe get 12 weeks of sledding , and that is in a good year, we are now almost 4 weeks into the season and still a lot of red. I am seeing trails that used to be one of the first to be opened, still in red. What makes it even more frustrating is the lack of information behind the closed trail. I can get out fairly local, so I am still able to ride, so thank  you to all of the clubs making it happen, your efforts are great appreciated. My question is, are these late openings the result of the new mandates , rules, from the OFSC or is the sport fundamentally changing.
    • "White gold" for body shops and tow operators. Hard work for first responders Nightmare/headache for insurers   Lots involved
    • I have my sled back, engine rebuild, so if you are heading out please let me know which day and I will try to book the day off.
