We could not raise enough cash to get it done in secret. One thing that is good, when we moved 83, the groomer gotcloser to it on theeast side so it is not as much rough trsil to get on from th east.

Did ou notice a guy standing on the bridge as the idiot on the bike went by him with the front wheel off the ground at a high rate of speed. My biggest issue with this is not that the morons may have died, IMO that is fine as you reap wht you sew, but the fact if they were killed then I can see the bridge being shut down in a way that would make it impossible for others to use.

manotickmike
2 incidents. One was a fire, the 2nd, people reporting a fire, was just a coolant leak, driver "didn't notice" and kept driving. Nobody died this week, so far. 1

Trail is C210 I believe it did at one time. In 2004 our group ran from Shining Tree to the Watershed on a marked trail that was no longer in use. We ran the Sultan road to the end then followed the side of a highway over to where some old hunt camp was ( The Bear's Den?, something to do with bears anyway) and there was a trail from that hunt camp to the F. We had gone from Elliot Lake to Chapleau on the first day and I had remembered seeing the sign on the trail for that hunt camp. It wasn't groomed but the signs were still there. We were all tired, sick of trail riding and trying to get back to Elliot Lake as quick as possible. You could fly down that Sultan road until the logging trucks came then we had to climb the snowbanks to avoid getting hit.

I had a Grand Touring 580 like the green one at that time. 'Cept mine had a 1.75" RMK track on it at that time. .. and the seat rest was replaced with a 10 gallon gas tank. There's a bridge over the Magpie just outside of Wawa like that. I think that I have a pic of my dually parked in the middle of it somewhere. . .
