  4. Would have thought so as well with the mild temps and all, but for the most part not much rainfall in the Almaguin area so far. Surely not a great looking winter fun forecast tho, haven't even bothered to peel back the stickers on trail passes yet.

  6. Problem is, the lawyers cost huge money to defend, so often a settlement is offered. Nobody should be allowed to sue a club. It is an off road activity with sleds now breaking 200hp. Of course you can die or be severely injured. Risk should be placed 100% where it belongs, on us, the riders. Don't like risk, get under the bed, wrap yourself up in bubble wrap and hide until god calls you home when you finally die of boredom.

  9. I believe that I had read a few years ago that Quebec has the right answer. For lawsuits up to a maximum $ amount (can't remember the amount) If you sued and lost, you had to pay the other parties costs. Too bad Ontario wouldn't adapt this system.

  11. I talked to Patrick from the magpie in Dubreuilville a couple days ago not much snow maybe 8 to 10 inches he would like to send the groomer to pack but not really enough snow . It’s going to take a snow storm to get things going and that’s not in the forecast . Hawk junction and south got the lake effect snow last week . Also closer to Soo missed the snow . Haven’t heard much about Hornpayne but I expect they’re low on snow also .

  12. The sleder (or his lawyer) will also drag the club and OFSC into being liable. Another reason to make sure all signage is in place and displayed properly. Jerry
