    • I will take the 45mm of rain right now over the 45mm of freezing rain we are supposed to get. It just started now. Our season could be over before it even begins. We already have put in over 1500 man hours cleaning up the March Ice Storm and we are only about 70% done.
    • I agree with Scotty that the David family's ownership is thing making the Bestway the premium accommodation is Cochrane. Is that ownership still the case? I know that the other side has been trying to buy the business for most of the years since Bryan took over from his parents. The location is good, but most places in Cochrane are conveniently located, unless you are a Timmies diehard.
    • I decided to try the cable type a few years ago since I always ran the spring style to try something new, issue I found after a couple of seasons is the natural curve downward towards the ground on one of them would freeze in the up or pointing out position, only once they froze making the one totally in affective.  now I have the doo front idler wheel wire ones.
    • In my opinion One rig design mounts and  rail mount spring style scratchers are the way to go for Polaris sleds      Easy to store   Easy to put down  and cheap to replace
    • I have both styles too. . These came with machine so style new to me. Defiantly simple and effective to work on or replace. Spring ones are nice too but if you break it, it's a nightmare to change them out behind torsion springs.
