    • Would you stay there again for that price, or would you rather pay a bit more for something more comfortable?
    • I’ve ridden over 5000kms so far this year almost everywhere west of Orangeville. It’s been another banger season for snow. Yesterday was the first day I towed the sled for about an hour and a half each way to ride a bit further “north”. I’ve also towed up to Arthur a few times and over to Hillsburgh from Fergus. Other than that, I've been leaving from home, about 4000kms worth right outta the shop.  I do plan on making a couple further day trips before the seasons end. But other than that, I’m keeping it close to home again this season. I really see no need to go on multi-day trips to Quebec or way up north when the snow is this good in the south.  My average day trip costs me about $65-$80 in fuel depending on the day, and I pack my own lunch for the day and eat trailside. So fuel is really my only cost.  I’m hoping I can get in another 3000kms or so before the seasons end, as long as weather holds, it shouldn’t be a problem.    My 12 & 14yr old kids are already saving up for their own sleds, because the Bravo doesn’t have suspension, says the oldest lol I either take them out one at a time, or like tonight, I’ll take both and they’ll swap back n forth.
    • For those that don't know, B109 runs From the Conestoga Lake area towards Arthur on a sideroad that has for the most part no winter maintenance but straight with road crossings every 11/4 mile or so. The car driver turned onto said sideroad at the 4th concession and didn't make it to the next road crossing which would be the 6th concession. It may have been maintained or blown out by the farmer a few 100 feet to his laneway. From that point on its snowmobile trail only on most of the sideroad sections. There would likely have been No Winter Maintenance signs and of course the required trail signs.
    • I think Nutter summed it up well. I'll add one thing that should be addressed here  and at our clubs meetings and I think Nutter touched on it a few pages back about the volunteer Board of Gov's having quite abit of power overseeing things and the direction we're going in the future. A change in the way we structure that i think is long overdue. How many fully commited volunteers and whole families have walked away in the last 10 years and said im done with ofsc.  Not sure what the solution is and im all ears but "More On Snow" has not been a success in my opinion.
    • I thought the cap for permit price increase was limited to 7%? Can a 50.00 increase even be a possibility with the MTO involved? Asking since they were the ones who shot down the OFSC's recommendation for a request for a price increase. Ski
