  1. My riding partner and I ran around the hillsburgh trails today. He was breaking in a rebuilt motor and I just wanted to get out there and ride. The trails were not that bad a little icy in sections but overall I was pleased.
  2. I guess the dude that is going to groom the b109/b110 is going to have a ton of work to do. Just came back from a run and got stuck on that trail there must of been a 7 foot high drift and we went on the low side and I ended up in the ditch! Not fun!!
  3. On a snowmobile or in your car? I thought you sold your sled?
  4. Judy’s place in Brisbane can get busy but you can also park at the sports field off of 8th line.
  5. I see the b109 is now open to the park area and a few of the trails through there are open I want to check it out but on standby this week so no riding for me!
  6. That would be more like 40 cms! (1 inch is 2.54 cms) not that it matters the only thing that matters is the snow!!
  7. We were stopped on the rail trail going up to Markdale last week. The OPP just were looking for a trail permit and then waved us bye. But I understand that the farther north that you go the less chances that they will have trail patrol. So I really agree with what J Feces said in the above post.
  8. The first time that I went to Sudbury to ride (2017-2018 season) we booked at the moonlight and the trail out front of the hotel was yellow but should have been red so we asked the guy at the hotel and he said go up to Capreol there is lots of snow up there. We were calling bs but drove up and were surprised by the amount they had. Trails were green and great!
  9. Nice ride. Should be a great machine. I think that with any brand of sled reliability comes down to maintenance and how hard the machine is rode. Good luck with your new machine!!
  10. We rode out of Arthur yesterday afternoon and I was actually surprised that the trails were not too bad. The trails in the bush were low on snow and a little bumpy in some places but that’s what the suspension is for lol. Went through Palmerston towards Listowel and Atwood then headed back to Arthur after stopping by the Conestoga clubhouse. All in all a good first outing for the season. Sorry no pics.
  11. And I even saw some green trails in Longlac
  12. I remember someone on here saying due to ofsc insurance regulations or something like that that you wont see any open trails until after December 1 if they are even ready by then!
  13. Like Stoney said stage from STP. Staged from there on a 5 day saddle bag trip and had no issues. Also have staged from the Moonlight hotel but they charged us 10 bucks a day to park but we stayed there the first night.
  14. Pretty good place for shedders. Good restaurant in town called the Dog House sports bar. Was maybe a twenty minute walk or in my case a tall boy away! Lol!
  15. Staged from Tree Bears last March and stayed there the first night. They had 4 newer cabins then and I think the two older ones as well and they were supposed to be building more. Great food and the cabin was clean and comfortable.
  16. Its open as of this morning!! Ride on!!
  17. Usually when we go up to suds we stage from the STP lot and go from there. Actually we are going up Wednesday morning and may leave our rig there for our saddle bag trip or trailer up a little further depending on trail conditions. Let us know what the trails are like when you get a chance.
  18. The current owners changed the name to Tree Bears Camp. Haven’t stayed there but were maybe thinking about it later in the season.
  19. You mean C101? I was at my BILs cottage in Seguin falls last Sunday and I saw sled tracks on the C101 and the Seguin trail but there was not much snow coverage. They were supposed to get some snow this week so maybe it will be good.
  20. A coworker of mine showed me a pic of a sled trailer on its side on the 401 around Milton today. It was on Facebook but I don’t have an account so no pictures. Hopefully the trailer was at least empty.
  21. Last year when I was going to my BIL cottage in May there was still some snow on that hill on the eastern edge . I think it was the May 24 weekend.
  22. Nice pics. Makes me want to do a last of the year ride maybe next weekend! Already have next Friday booked off maybe I can get a day off the following week.
  23. Nice choices. Hope you can get an assault in your future. Me on the other hand will just keep my switchback with 15k on it.
  24. So you want to come to the dark side of the Poo sleds? Good for you. And you need to get your son on one as well.lol
