  1. Welcome to the forum, great group on here..
  2. Merry Christmas everyone hope you are all having a great day..
  3. We’ve eaten breakfast there last year short ride from Westway nice little spot, they do rent cabins but no running water in them, they have a separate building for the facilities. Definitely worth stopping in, we are planning on having a meal there next week or two. It’s a brand new home built facility. All log cabin style dining room.
  4. Nice pics Blake, thanks for sharing, have fun and be safe, wish I was with you today.
  5. Companion for us as well, the heated garage is a big selling point and they have treated us well, I like the rooms at the back where you can unload at your room.
  6. I heard they cleaned most of it, I’ll hedge my bets on the conditions bring much better than HF. Would be nice to give the sleds a good break in run.
  7. Been chatting with a couple guys, sounds like Temiskaming and ride north from there.
  8. Thinking of heading to Quebec for the weekend at this point
  9. For us it’s the Westway, we are heading up for New Years
  10. Attended club meetings with Du u wanna for a couple of years before moving to Gravenhurst and joining Snowcrest Riders as Secretary then this year took on role as Club President, We have a great team put together for this year. Like most clubs I think there is always the need for more volunteers to help out with the on the ground work involved in getting the trails ready to be opened.
  11. You must have been mistaken we race our paper airplanes in Denis’s back yard behind him..it’s an annual event ..and always the prescribed speed limit of course
  12. About 6 inches in Gravenhurst yesterday
  13. She ordered a Red Indy 850 137 with the White Hood as well, it should like pretty sharp. See you in 3 weeks buddy.
  14. lol, I am so bored at work today, was just playing around with ya buddy, I will drive whatever one she doesn't want to drive lol.
  15. hahahahahahaha fu let's not go down that road buddy... It is the sled I will be racing Denis this year though lol.
  16. Karen has a set on her sled for the really cold days and I will say they certainly keep her hands warm but I just cant bring myself to ride with my hands feeling trapped in them, Good pair of gloves and the Powermadd Fuzion handguards seem to work best for me. To each their own I guess.
  17. 3 more weeks till we will be all over those trails, can't wait, picking up Karen's sled on Monday!! Woot Woot.
  18. Here is what the dad posted a few days ago when it was stolen. Just an update On my boy’s stolen sled. We recovered it yesterday afternoon. Both of us had to go retrieve it from the end of Beck Boulevard and Fox Street in a trail hidden near the small river that runs in the back of that Bush. Someone stripped it down to almost nothing and damaged what was left then dragged it to that location. Got a call from the police to go and get it. Ethan I think was finally ok with the fact that it was gone for good. I think it would have been better that way. Having him dragging his own sled out of the bush like that sent him over the deep end. Depressed little guy now not in good state. Love how people love to crush people’s lives. Items that where taken are as follows in case anyone come across or in the sledding community hears of them going around. The full seat. Rear tail light assembly. Snow flap. Complete handle bar assembly. Mbrp can. Both front walker evan shocks. Windshield. Gas and vented oil cap. Spark plug wires and other wiring I have no idea what it does. Pull start handle battery and starter. Every wire was cut and side panels where tossed in the river. I’m sure I’m missing a few items but that’s just me looking in 5 min. Thanks Between midnight and 5 AM last night my son’s snowmobile was stolen from inside my double snowmobile trailer that was parked in my driveway at 73 Lorne ave in penetang. They pushed the trailer down the sandpit across the road and left it on its side and took the snowmobile and drove off with it. 2 People Are guilty. He didn’t have any insurance on it yet as it was just all fixed up for the winter and ready to ride if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated I have a pretty upset little boy 2 days before his birthday. Not fair
  19. Its a 2012 Polaris Assault, I have been speaking with the Dad and he is going to have a mechanic check the sled out, there is a bunch of missing parts from when it was stolen and not sure if any damage to the engine done. He isn't even sure if it will be worth fixing or may just sell the remains of it off and look for a new sled. As of this morning there has been over $1000 raised to help the kid out. Nunz
  20. Thanks to everyone that showed up today and the sponsors of the event we were able to fill the trailer with toys and clothes and also raised about $500.00 which we will be buying more toys this week. Nice to see a few OC members stop in for a visit.
  21. This year could be different but in the past usually only the Northern Corridor is about the only area open for New Years, anything else is a bonus.
